Long Game - Woo Do Hwan

Do Hwan has been smiling for the past hour, listening to the woman in front of him who is clearly telling what future she wants to be when she gets married.

"Oppa, oh, can I call you that?"

Classic moves, he knows it too well and only replies by a smile that she assumes as a green light.

"Should we arrange our next meeting with the parents? My mom would be so excited if she knew that this is going to be the last time I'm going to a blind date meeting."

"Min Ah-ssi, I think-"

"You can call me by name,"

"Min Ah-ssi, I don't think there would be another meeting after this."

She tilts her head, not understanding. "Did you mean that we should just go to register our wedding?"

"Hmm, how should I say this," he pauses, smiling again out of politeness. "My parents may be pestering me, probably yours too, for this meeting to work out. But I already have someone."

Min Ah is shocked but doesn't back down. After all the men that she encountered for the past months for this kind of meeting, he is the finest of them all. His smile that could weaken her knees and the outstanding genes that surely could give them cute babies.

"I understand if this is going too fast. We could get to know each other first then and I'm sure it won't be too long since we're both past 30 anyways."

As Do Hwan voices out the reason why this is not going to work out, another figure enters the fancy restaurant they're in. At the strong presence and overwhelming confidence that she has, she makes people turn their head to her direction. Her long straight hair sways as she walks gracefully with a stoic expression, her eyes landing on him who hasn't acknowledged her at all.

"Oppa, we should talk to our parents-,"

"Excuse me, what parents?"

Min Ah stops talking when the figure stops just at their table. Her presence is intimidating enough, in addition to her all branded stuff from head to toe shows that she's not someone to be messed with. Surely, as she wants to be annoyed with unwanted guests and tries to glare, she instantly feels small compared to her.

"Who are you?"

"Me?" She points to herself and looks at Do Hwan who meets eyes with her then quickly turns away to hide his growing smile. She gives her enchanting smile before moving beside him and putting her hand on his shoulder. "Do Hwan Oppa' fiancé, Chae Ji Min."

Min Ah can't hide her shocked expression.

"Chae Ji Min?"

Ji Min nods and blinks her eyes at her. "Does my name ring a bell?"

"Are you the adopted granddaughter of the Chae's Nutrifarm Company?"

She nods, "I am the adopted granddaughter."
