Synopsis:
Boo Seungkwan had just taken a big step into adulthood, freshly graduated from university and eager to carve out his place in the world. His journey led him to Apartment 265, a cozy yet lively complex tucked away in a bustling part of the city. Unit 161, a snug and affordable space, became his new home-and little did he know, it would also become the starting point of a life-changing chapter.
As Seungkwan settled in, he began meeting his neighbors one by one, each as vibrant and unique as the city itself.
What began as chance encounters soon blossomed into friendships, partnerships, and even love. In the shared spaces of Apartment 265-its cozy hallways, rooftop garden, and occasional movie nights-a tapestry of connections was woven. Together, they faced the ups and downs of life, discovering that the best kind of home isn't made of walls but of the people within them.

So "Apartment 265" is a story about the lives of different households who all are united by one apartment complex. It is a slice of life/comedy/romance and it is definitely a piece of work that I enjoy working on.
I will not spoil too much about the book but I want to share more about the main couple (I think you can guess who it is).
The couple, who started off as neighbours, have a love-hate relationship with one another. They would always bicker, argue, and fight with each other. However, in the end, they both have a soft spot for each other. They are an "opposites attract" couple. I enjoyed working on their characters as I believed that it is quite similar to their personalities in real life. I also can't wait for what's yet to come in the future updates/chapters of the story.
In one unit, there's a married couple. In another, there's a preschool teacher. In another, there are roommates of 3 people (not related to the book cover). There's also so much more unique personalities and characters in this story. Personally, it was a pleasure writing such a fun story. It was definitely comforting and something I look forward to writing every day.
One spoiler though...
I was definitely surprised with how I wrote Minghao's character(?). I'm not so sure about you guys, though. I won't say what his character is but I will say some key things about it. His character is something I personally, couldn't imagine him as. However, that motivated me to make something new. To step out of my comfort zone and write the characters to be as unique as possible.
Minghao's character is a quiet, reserved, loving, caring and patient one. He usually looks out for his neighbours and would always give out to the community. He is able to create a close bond with Jeonghan because of how similar their personalities are in this story.
