Part 55: Dirty

(The trip was only a few minutes but it was silent until the subway pulled into a different station and chimed as the doors opened and the warped voice plays on the PA system. The 3 cautiously step out of the train, taken in there surroundings .)

Lila: Yucko. 

(This station was filthy. Trash and Dirt littered the floors and the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was built. Five took out a note pad and pen and began to write down some things about the station in order to understand it better. Lila walked up behind him and began to read over his shoulder but started to make up what it said, trying to make a joke.)

Lila: Dear Diary, why do I always wear suits? 

(Neither Y/n or Five paid any attention to her as Five continued to write while Y/n started to look around more.)

Lila: What are you doing? 

Five: Leaving bread crumbs. It's a broken vending machine. Stain on the floor in the shape of Australia. 

Y/n: (Looks up at the lights.) 3 burned-out light bulbs.

(Five nods and writes it down.)

Lila: Poetic. 

Y/n: Not really. 

Lila: Where do you reckon we end up? 

Five: My guess is back in Gene and Jean's apartment. Same day, same time, different timeline.

Lila: (at the same time as Five.) Diffrent timeline. I knew it. 

Y/n: Only one way to find out 

(Y/n walks to the stairs and starts to assend as Five and Lila follow close behind. When they finally made it to the top, Y/n paused as she looked around. The place was destroyed along with everything else. The only thing left was ruin and rubble and the flames that continued to destroy what little was left. A world on fire. She knew this place, and she knew it well. How could you not know a place well when you spent 45 years trapped in it? She looked at Five, he didn't have the same reaction. It didn't seem like he recognized it, not yet, but she did. This was the apocalypse... their apocalypse.)
