Five: (Turning to Y/n) Do you remember that timeline we found the other day? At the greenhouse?
Lila: And the stawberries.
Y/n: What about it?
Five: Seemed plesant enough. There's no feral hogs there. No secret police. A decent community. I was thinking we could maybe set up there for a stretch.
Lila: So you're giving up?
Five: No one said give up, but... It's been almost 7 years. We deserve a break. You now, a real bed, a real shower
Lila: I would strangle a kitten for a hot bath.
Y/n: Okay, let's not do that, but maybe you have a point. We could use a break. A little taste of normal. Or as normal as we can get.
Five: (smiles) You and I will never be normal.
Y/n: (smiles back) So I've learned.
Five: So what do you say?
Y/n: What about our family?
Five: It's been 7 years for us, Y/n. For them, no time has passed. Us taking a few days off to relax and have a break isn't going to make much of a difference for them.
Lila: It does sound nice. Just for a few days. This does not mean we are giving up.
Five: No, of course not.
(Y/n looks down for a minute as she thinks through the suggestion. They were right, it wouldn't make much of a difference for their family but they needed the rest. They were tired and maybe a couple days is what they needed to get their sparks back so they could continue the journey and finally find their way home. If it was just her, it would never cross her mind, but she wasn't alone. She never need to eat, drink, sleep. Perks of being an immortal I guess, but Five and Lila did. Even is she didn't want to, she could tell that Five and Lila needed this and she wasn't willing to get seperated so she nodded.)
Y/n: Okay.
(Fives smile was contagious and she knew she was doing the right thing.)
