Part 132: Last Chance

Diego: We love you too, Y/n. 

(Diego put a hand on Y/n's shoulder and Five wraps his arm around her waist.)

Luther: Anyone else? 

(No one responded.)

Diego: Okay, so... what do we do? 

Five: Just... power up, I guess.

(It was the only thing left to do, bring the marigold to the surface. It would draw the creature towards them, so this would all be over.)

Viktor: (To Allison.) You feel strong enough for this? 

(Allison hesitated for a second, looking around at her siblings. When Y/n and Allison's eyes locked, Y/n gave her a smile. It was all she could really do at this point to comfort her sister.)

Allison: (looking back at Viktor.) Yeah. I think so. 

(Each of them began to activate their powers. The marigold inside them emitted an yellowish glow over their hearts The combination of all the glows lite up the room. As the seconds ticked by in silence the glow became brighter and brighter as the family focused on bringing the Marigold out.)

Klaus: Ugh, I'm feeling...

(Klaus didn't finish his statement. The family looked around at each other, taking it all in. Diego glanced down at Y/n, noticing that she was the only one without a glow, reminding the siblings that she had no marigold left inside her. She was indeed ment to be in this universe. She had a place but had choosen her place among her sibling instead. She had chosen her family over her crown and in doing so choose her own path over her destiny. It was a decision that had required no thought on her part and had not been reconsidered since. As entertaining as it was to watch over the universe and be a queen, she did not want to continue in a world without the people she loved.)

Diego: Last chance, you sure you don't want to go back to your castle? Forget any of this ever happened.

Y/n: (smiling.) Not a chance.

(It was a last ditch attempt on Diego's part. One that he knew wouldn't work. She wasn't leaving her family behind, not this time.)
