Diego: Holy shit!
(Everyone else stared in shock look, but it all clicked for Y/n. The nights she ran off and didn't return til morning. All the times she claimed to go to the library. The way she looked guilty. She was cheating. With god knows how many others for god knows how long. She had once promised herself if anyone ever hurt her family, she would hurt them and she was very close to hurting Lila.)
Luther: Oh, wow!
Allison: What?
Klaus: I didn't see that one coming!
Diego: Holy shit! I was right! The book club. All this time. I knew you were cheating on me.
(He looks at Five.)
Diego: Did you know?
Five: No.
(He looks at Y/n.)
Y/n: If I had, would she still be breathing?
(She glares at Lila who flinches under her gaze.)
Lila: I wasn't cheating... At least... not when you thought that I was.
Allison: (whispers to Luther who sat there in shock.) Should we go? We should go.
Klaus: We're ot going anywhere.
(Everyone paused as they were trying to process everything.)
Lila: Okay, you need to listen to me, all right? No matter how strange this sounds, just listen. Five, Y/n and I, we've been lost in a subway.
(Diego scoffs dismissively and laughs.)
Lila: It's not a regular subway. It's a waypoint between alternate timelines of the same moment in time.
Diego: Yeah. Think I'm gonna buy that bullshit?
Y/n: She's not lying about that part, Diego.
Five: We got lost. We couldn't find our way back.
Lila: We were searching for 7 years, Diego.
(Diego sat down, defeated and put his hands over his face. Lila sat down next to him as she continued to explain.)
Lila: We were moving from timeline to timeline. We had no idea what we would find. We were chased, attacked, shot at. I never stopped trying to find a way home. But I got tired, ans I had to stop running. Ummm, and that's when it happened. We found a timeline to rest for a while and I... I met someone.
Diego: Do you love him?
(Lila doesn't respond for a while but is saved when Claire says something.)
Claire: Hey, stupid grown-ups, check out the TV.
