Part 71: Time Choo-Choo

(Lila grabs Five's arm and puts an arm around Y/n's neck.)

Lila: You thinking what I'm thinking? 

Five: Rarely. 

Y/n: I'm thinking that you should let go of me before I burn you. 

(Lila lets go of both Five and Y/n and continues talking.)

Lila: There might be a way to stop all this. 

Five: The answer is no.

Lila: Hey, you didn't een let me ask the question. 

Five: I know I'm gonna hate it. Why waste oygen? 

(Lila looks to Y/n hoping to get some support.)

Y/n: No. 

Lila: Why? 

Y/n: Because that's the safest answer with anything involving you. 

Lila: Why don't we use that little time choo-choo, go back n time, and stop the coming Armageddon? 

Y/n: So use time travel to stop the world ending. The same thing we've tried to use 3 times before and it has failed over and over again. 

Five: How would that work? 

Lila: Well, we travel back to the orginal Jennifer incident. Stop your Ben from ever touching that Jen.

Y/n: Changing something from that timeline wouldn't effect this one. In this timeline, Ben didn't touch Jennifer or even meet her until a couple of days ago. 

Lila: But by changing your original timeline, it would effect us here because it's still your past. 

Y/n: We don't know that for sure. 

Five: Plus, if you recall, last time we almost got our heads blown up and struck by lightning. 

Lila: Mmm. 

Five: All right? Plus it would never work without a briefcase. 

Y/n: And those don't exist anymore. 

Lila: Stop being such a baby. It's worth a shot. Clearly the rules are diffrent this time. Maybe we don't need a briefcase. You must have those powers for a reason, right? Let's use it. 

(Lila smirks and Five looks to Y/n.)

Y/n: It's dangerous. We don't know enough about this. We'd be diving head first into the deep end with no knowledge of how to swim in it. 

(Y/n looks at Five who looks slightly dissappointed and she understand why imediately. They've always known each other better than anyone and she could tell that Five missed it. Missed the adventure, the unknown. Yeah, being a CIA agent had helped but it wasn't the same. Part of him missed chasing the apocolyspe, he missed the thrill. Like her, it was the love for their family that made them fight but it was the need for choas that kept them gong no matter how hard the fight got and deep down part of her missed it too. So despite her hesitations, she was determined to make it work, for Five if nothing else.)

Y/n: But we've dealt with worse. This train was revealed for a reason, may as well find out what it is. 

Five: All right. First sign of trouble, we're coming back.

(Y/n smiled knowing that that probably wasn't the case but nodded anyway.)
