Part 81: 2 Years In

(2 years in. They started camping out in stations. They built fires using Y/n's powers to light them. Making their own meals with food they found in diffrent timelines. They spent less an less time on the subway, opting to sleep in the stations or in a diffrent timeline when they could to give them more space. They started crossing off the stations as they explored, making note of which ones they could stay in for a couple days before continuing their journey to find their home. They set up a main camp in the apocolyse time line since that's where they ended up coming back to a lot, resorting to placing rat traps for food. Y/n left them to eat that while she explored. Technically she didn't need food anymore after becoming an immortal so she left a lot of the food that they could get to Lila and Five while she drew energy from the earth, fire, air, and water like she had when they were stuck in the apocolyse. She was getting Deja Vu a lot these days, memories of the apocolyse coming back to her as history repeated itself. The more and more timelines they visited, the more and more they found most of them destroyed, in a way those were her favorites. They felt familar, as they were world she knew. Her and Five had grown up in an apocoypse after all. There was something relieving about the end. Nothing more could change as it was at the end of it's life. All that was left was to watch it decay, the last reminanse of human kind collasping and turning into dust. The end of the world. A concept that she had gotten very familiar with and something she had continuously tried to stop since the age of 13 and now over half a century later she found herself in the same position, over and over again. She was 66 now, but she looked to be in her early 20's. So much has changed and yet what she if fighting for has remained constant. Fighting to get home, fighting for her sibling, for Five, and to save the world. The more she thought about it, the more she lost hope that she'd ever truly win that fight.)
