Part 56: Back Where We Started

(Lila and Five started to look around while Y/n was just frozen in place as all the memories of her and Five being stuck came rushing back. This is where she learned to embrace her powers, where her and Five grew closer, where they saw all those they love dead at such a young age because they had decided to run away. This is where it all changed, where this whole adventure started. Lila and Five started talking but Y/n stood still, unmoving lost in thought.)

Lila: Shows what you know. You muct have jumped forward, ahead of time, to the end of the world. 

Five: No, no,no. We haven't jumped anywhere. We're not moving forward or backwards through time. We're just going to alternate versions of now.  This is Gene and Jean's apartment.

(Five looks back to find Y/n hadn't moved, so he goes bakc to her, gently touching her cheek which snaps her out of her thought.)

Five: Love, what's wrong? 

Y/n: We've been here before. 

Lila: We have?

Y/n: Not you, me and Five. 

(Five looks around and it clicks in his head, he recognized it now.)

Five: This is our apocalypse. 

Lila: Your apocalypse? 

Y/n: The one we got trapped in. Our original timeline. 

Five: We were stuck here for 40 years. This is the timeline where Viktor blew up the moon and we didn't stop it. 

Y/n: Technically, we never stopped it, we just jumped to the 60 and tried again. 

Lila: Well, this is a very shitty timeline.

Y/n: We know, we lived in it. 

(Y/n and Five walk over to where Lila is standign and continues to look around. 

Five: Hold on a second. 

(Five pulls out a pair of binoculars and looks in the distance.)

Lila: Binoculars?

Y/n: Five, What are you doing?

(Y/n's arm twitches and Lila looks at her.)

Lila: You good? 

(Before Y/n could answer, Five lowers his binoculars and his eyes widen and he farts.)

Lila: Did you just fart?

(Y/n looks up, knowing what this means.)

Y/n: Shit.

Five: Get down!
