Klaus: This feels so weird.
Luther: I know. Right, buddy?
(Luther smiles at Klaus and puts an arm on his shoulder and Klaus puts his arm on Luther's shoulder.)
Luther: Hold on, okay? It's almost over.
(Diego reaches out his other hand to Y/n with a smile. Y/n grabs onto his hand and gives it a squeeze.)
Diego: Don't let go.
Y/n: I wouldn't dare.
(Five reached out his other hand that wasn't around Y/n to Allison and she smiled with tears in her eyes and grabbed his hand. Klaus reached a hand out to Lila and Viktor reached a hand out to Luther. So there they stood. Hands connected, waiting for the end, together, as a family, just like Y/n always wanted them to be. The substance creeped up their legs and one it got to their hips they started to feel it. It hurt, bad. It felt like burning needles being poked into their skin and the pain only got worse, but Lila started to laugh.)
Lila: Thank you. Thank you for letting me be in your weird family.
(The substance continued to grow and got faster and faster, reaching their chest and covering their arms. The pain was still there but they laughed anyway.)
Luther: Oh God, I'm gonna miss you guys.
Viktor: I'm just glad we're together in the end.
Allison: I just wish it didn't have to be the end.
Diego: No more legs and eggs huh?
(The family laughed once more. They were starting to loose feeling in their bodies as the substance reached their necks)
Allison: Maybe we'll see each other again.
Five: That would be nice.
Y/n: In another world.
Klaus: You know, I just wanna say, I love you guys... but you are all assholes.
Lila: Fuck you...
(They all laughed as the substance grew past their neck and started to cover their faces, It didn't take long before they were fully submerged in the substance. This marked the end but they were happy... together. The memories of them would be erased but they had saved the world. Their final mission as a family was complete and they had succeeded. The world lived on even if they did not. There was no alternative left for them. No more running, no time travel, no portal... This was the end of the Umbrella Academy and the Hargreeves siblings... or was it.)
