Part 80: Lost Count

(Days, months, years maybe. It had been at least a year since they got stuck. Time blended together after a while. They had searched countless other stations and counless other timelines but none of them were their own. They lost hope after a while but never stopped searching. They tried to make sense of the map, tried to just wait it out as the days ticked by but ever stop they checked but it was just another timeline. Five started working out on the train to keep himself busy. Lila had a tendency to sleep most of the time. Y/n on the other hand, she let her mind wander. She thought about her family, how they were doing. Did the time pass the same for them? Probably not. They were in a place out of time. The time passed for them but no one else. She thought of her castle, her kingdom. She knew how to open the portal to get back, but she had already tried. The portal wouldn't open here, it would only open once they were back in their timeline. Why? She had no idea but at this point she was more concerned with getting home then figuring out why it didn't work. The time ticked by slow, it was a feeling Five and Y/n had been used to when they got stuck in the apocolyse but this was diffrent. There was no impending doom, no need to find food or clean water, or shelter. They could find it all pretty easily actually by just going to a diffrent timeline and getting water and food. The main problem was the bored, especially for Lila. Y/n and Five kept themselves entertain with each other, cuddling, dancing randomly, kissing when Lila wasn't looking, which happened a lot, talking about their lives and swapping stories and memories for their childhoods and past together, but you can only remember so much before you run out of memories, so Y/n would tell Five stories of the things she saw as Queen and the books she's read, eventually Lila joined in, listening and sharing stories of her own. Y/n hated to admit it but she actually started to like Lila. She still didn't trust her but she stopped finding her company as a whole headache inducing. Despite the trio actually starting to get along however, in such close quarters with stress already high, there are bond to be a some arguements. Mostly it was Y/n and Five against Lila. Luckily they didn't have many fights. Just one or two... or a million, you really lost count after a while.)
