Y/n: I don't

(Lila's head whipped around to look at Y/n who still has her eyes closed.)

Lila: How long have you been away?

Y/n: The entire time. You people seem to forget that I don't sleep.

Diego: Perfect, so you heard everything?

Y/n: Yes, and I don't think Diego is overreacting.

Lila: Of course you are taking Diego's side.

Y/n: Trust me Lila, I am the first person to tell him if he is being an idoit, but he isn't and you laughing at him for having a normal reaction is absurd.

Diego: Thank you, Y/n.

Y/n: Anytime.

Lila: You both are acting like I had an affair.

Diego: It's worse.

Lila: Okay, as much as I would love to unpack whatever this is, we have much more important things to think about.

(Diego pauses.)

Diego: It's because he's in the CIA, huh? I'm just a dumb delivery driver.

Y/n: What?

Lila: No, Diego.

Y/n: Her and Five didn't sleep together Diego. Do you think either of them would be alive if that had happened?

Diego: Then why?

Lila: Cause I needed something for myself, okay? Something other than changing Diapers and wine moms and ballet class. At least you get to get outside the house every day. I'm just trapped in this unending suburban hellscape.

(In a way Y/n felt bad for Lila. Going from an assassin to do whatever she wanted and go wherever she wanted to a mom that was stuck in the house 24/7 where her whole life now revolved around her kids had to have been a hard transition. The only thing that gave her pause was that she still didn't trust Lila, not 100%, not even 50%. Hell she barely trusted her at all. There was something about her, something she was hiding that made Y/n keep her guard up and make her even more protective of her brother.)

Diego: I mean, that's good to know. that the life we built is so bad.

Lila: That's not what I meant.

Diego: You think I like delivering packages day in and day out? Busting my ass? Trust me, I'd rather be out there cracking skulls, but, i mean, somebody's gotta show up in this marriage, because... it sure as hell ain't you.

(Diego slammed the dashboard making the radio start playing Daddy shark again, waking up the rest of the sibling, but no one speaks as they continue to drive, the only noise being the music.)
