Part 139: The End

(Back to the present)

(Y/n stood on the balcony, looking out at the stars, when a hand wraps around her waste. She smiles and turns around, coming face to face with Five. His new suit matched Y/n's dress and he wore a minimalist gold crown on his head. He didn't really care for the crown but Y/n thought it would be funny so he wore it for her. Because they were married he was labeled the King of the Elements, but that title was more honorary than anything. Y/n still had full control of the kingdom and Five was perfectly fine with that, and just enjoyed his retirement. He smiled down at her, before kissing her, and bringing her inside with a hand still wrapped around her waist. As they entered they found Luther and Klaus playing a game on the TV, while Viktor was reading a book on the chair. Allison, Lila, and Diego were looking through the portal back on Earth, watching their kids play in the park. The whole family was there. They were all given the option and they decided to come and live in the castle with Y/n. Allison, Lila, and Diego would watch their children grow up, Klaus could watch Claire grow up, Viktor and Luther could live on and stay with their family and Five could live the remainder of his life with the women he love. It wasn't the best ending they could think of but it was better than the alternative and it was their ending and they could be a family. In the end, the Umbrella Academy didn't save the world. The Hargreeves siblings did. They were no longer an Academy of special children, they were a family. A Family that saved the world and a sister that had saved them. This was it, everything Y/n had wanted. The world was safe, her family was alive. She could have the life that she choose. And just in case the world should ever need them again, the Hargreeves siblings were ready... just in case. Y/n looked up at Five and kissed him again before turning to her family and smiling, seeing them all safe and happy. Finally she looked directly into the camera and winked with a smirk as the camera fades to black.)
