Part 68: Waterworks

Abigail: Viktor, Please don't hurt him!

Viktor: Why not? Why shouldn't I? All he does is hurt everyone else. Ben, Jennifer, me. All of us. 

(Viktor turns for a moment to look at Abigail while still using his powes on Reginald.)

Viktor: He hurt your own daughter, your own flesh and blood, his own flesh and blood. How are you not furious with him? 

Abigail: He did what he thought was best for her.

(Y/n turns to look at her.)

Y/n: Do you honestly believe that? 

(Abigail looks down at the floor and Viktor and Y/n look back at Reginald.)

Reginald: Spare me the waterworks. One life isn't more important than the entire planet.

Viktor: Oh, but your wife's is. 

Reginald: You stuck your nose in where it didn't belong, and you allowed Jennifer to escape. This is your fault! 

Viktor: Oh no, no, no! This is your fault!

(The floor underneath him begins to break more and Viktors voice starts to crack.)

Viktor: My whole life, all I wanted was for you to see me, to make me apart of the team. Instead, you treated me like I was broken. And I believed you. I thought you knew me better than I knew myself, but I know now you don't know shit! You're the failure! You're the reason this happened! And I am not gonna let you kill Ben! Not now, not ever! Am I clear? 

(Abigial places a hand on Viktor's shoulder and he calms own and the orange that surrounded them fades.)

Abigail: Viktor. That's enough. 

(Viktor starts breathing heavily as Reginald starts to stand up.)

Abigail: You and your  father. Both so headstrong.

(A guard shows up next to him.)

Reginald: You took your sweet time. 

Y/n: What would he have done? 

Reginald: What is it?

(The guard whispers something in his ear as everyone stares at them.) 

Y/n: What now? 

Reginald: It seems we may have found your brother. 

Y/n: Where?!
