Part 70: Rigor

(Five rejoins the rest of the group.)

Five: All right, so my guys tell me that this whole farm actually belongs to those two lunatics who ambushed us at New Grumpson. Gene and Jean Thibedeau. 

Luther: Well, maybe Ben Killed them too. 

(Allison kneels on the ground and pokes a dead body with a stick.)

Five: Forendics found fresh tracks leading out of the barn. My guess is they escaped.

Y/n: Lucky them.

Allison: They couldn't have gotten far. Based on the signs of rigor, I'd say time of death was 6, maybe 7 hours ago. 

(Y/n walks over to her and squats down to look at the body.)

Y/n: Looks a little closer to 6. A body starts to get cold around 6 hours, despite the weather, he's still pretty warm.

(Allison nods and they both stand up.)

Diego: How do you two know that? 

Allison: Wichita, PD. Thursday nights at 9/8 Central. 

Y/n: The first power I ever learned to control was fire. I know about heat. 

(Five smirks.)

Five: Is that the only reason?

Y/n: I've also killed a lot of people. 

(Y/n walks over to Five and Five hugs her.)

Five: Perks of being an assasin, I guess. 

(Reginald's eyes widen for a moment before he regains his composure and turns away.)

Reginald: Ready the car. 

(He walks away and Viktor follows him.)

Allison: I gotta make a call. 

(Five walks the opisite direction and pulls Y/n with him by grabbing her hand.) 

Y/n: What if we just leave Dad in the middle of the woods? 

Five: (laughs) Why? 

Y/n: Everytime I'm around that man, he gets on my nerves. It was easier when I didn't know we were related. (They stop walking and Y/n turns to Five.) I can't believe we even share DNA. 

Five: You're more then your DNA, love. He doesn't define you. 

Y/n: I know 

(Y/n kisses Five. When she pulls away she see Lila coming up behind them.)

Y/n: Here comes trouble.
