Part 60: Who is Her?

(Reginald leaves the room to set yo the machine to fix their memories and the women introduces herself as Abigail, Reginald's wife. The room goes quite until Y/n decided to speak up.)

Y/n: Who is "her"? 

Abigail: I'm sorry? 

Y/n: You said "If you don't do it for them, do it for her." So who is "her"? 

(Abigail pauses and just looks at Y/n with a smile.)

Abigail: You... 

Y/n: Me? Why me? 

Abigial: You are very special, my dear. You mean a great deal to Reginald... and myself. 

Y/n: Why? Because of my power? 

Abigail: That's part of it. You're siblings told us about your travels to diffrent timelines and you meeting another verson of the academy.

Y/n: Yeah, so? 

Abigail: Did you notice any... similarities between the 2 academies? 

Y/n: We all have superpowers... and both had me.

Abigail: Indeed, and why do you think that is? 

Y/n: Because I'm the powerhouse. He needed me to operate the machine to reboot the timeline. I acted as the power source. 

Abigail: Not quite. 

Y/n: Because he met me in the 60's and was impressed by my power.

Abigail: That's not why. He always knew what you were capable of.

Y/n: Then he somehow knew about the prophecy of me becoming the queen of the elements and wanted to make sure it could happen. 

Abigail: He did know about your power, and the prophecy, but he knew about those for the same reason you are in every incarnation of the Umbrella Academy. 

(Y/n scoffs at the vagueness and sits in the chair where Reginald had been sitting. She leaned back with her hands on the arm rests and her legs crossed, sitting on the chair as if it were her throne as she tilted her head and looked at Abigail.)

Y/n: Then why? If it's not about my power, then what's so special about me?

Abigail: You're his daughter. 

Y/n: I'm adopted. We all are.

Abigail: No, you're not adopted. You're his biological daughter. (She reaches out her hand, touching Y/n's hand.) Our daughter.
