Ashlyn got in Levi's car and she immediately could smell his scent. As usual, his scent calmed her down. Ashlyn turned the keys in the ignition, put on the heater and drove her way home.
She parked Levi's car in her driveway and went straight to her room. The house was quite, telling her that no one was home. Ashlyn felt her body weakening and slumped herself onto her bed. Her whole body felt like she was stuck in a freezer. She buried herself under her covers and drifted off to sleep, not even having the energy to change her damped clothes.

"Sweetie, wake up honey." Ashlyn's mum shook her.
"No mum, I just slept." Ashlyn moaned feeling a massive headache coming. It felt like a hangover but without the alcohol.
"What do you mean? You slept for thirteen hours already!" Her mum mused.
Thirteen hours? It feels as if she slept for a minute because her body still ached. "I'm need some rest, mum."
"You've had enough rest already!" Laura pulled away her covers. "You didn't even bother coming down for dinner last night. We had Mac and cheese."
The mention of Mac and cheese made her stomach queasy and she felt a foul taste coming up her throat. Ashlyn got up and sprinted towards the bathroom where she vomited all her stomach's content into the toilet bowl.
"Ashlyn? Are you alright?" Her mum stood by the bathroom door. "Are you sick, sweetie?"
"I think so." Ashlyn sighed, closing her eyes and leaning against the sink. "My head hurts so badly."
"Let me see." Laura approached her and placed her hand on Ashlyn's forehead. The contact reminded her of the kiss Levi gave her yesterday on her forehead. She didn't pull back even when she knew he was waiting for her to do so because frankly speaking, she doesn't know if she wants to anymore.
"Oh dear, you're burning up! I think you're having a fever." Laura gasped, leading her back to her bed. "We need to get you back to bed now. I'll call the school and tell them you won't be attending for a couple of days."
"Thanks mu-Achoo!" Ashlyn sneezed. "You're the best-Achoo!"
Laura tucked Ashlyn into bed and brought in an extra comforter over because Ashlyn was still shivering despite being completely covered already. She also brought a couple of tissue boxes and placed it on Ashlyn's bedside table. "Now you rest and I'll go make some chicken soup for you."
Ashlyn nodded before drifting off to sleep again.
"Ash?"
Ashlyn opened her eyes groggily, still feeling weak. "Why is everyone disturbing me?" She growled because feeling weak and nauseous makes her grouchy.
Jaime sat at the edge of her bed. "Heard you were sick."
"Well, you heard right." She spat. "Now go. I'm not in the mood to talk when my head feels like it weighs a ton!"
"Okay, okay. But someone wants to see you." Jaime stood up and ran out of the room when she saw Ashlyn clutching her pillow, ready to throw.
Just then Levi walked in and stood by her door. "Hi."
"Hey." Ashlyn muttered, lowering the pillow but still clutching it when all of a sudden she felt self conscious in front of Levi. Ashlyn knew she probably looked like a mess with her bed hair, red stuffy nose and her wrinkled clothes since yesterday. "Why are you here?" She asked, burying herself and hiding under the covers.
"I...uh...came to pick up my car back." Levi spoke and Ashlyn could hear his footsteps approaching her bed.
"Well then go and take it." Ashlyn mumbled against her pillow. "Why are you in my room?"
