Chapter 64 "Happy Bloody Christmas"

"Alright Bowie, what are we doing in Alfheim?"

"My dear Man of Iron, we are here to get the God of Mischief a present." Jareth smile as the walked to a small cottage off the edge of the forest.

"Oh and what are we going to find way out here in the middle of nowhere?" Tony complained as he waved his hands dramatically. "Where are we?"

"We are at my sister's cottage. She has a cute little hobby; actually it's a family tradition. The members of my family breed magical Animals. My Mother has bred Jinx and Owls, I breed Jinx and my sister breeds PuffPups. It is a small breed of magical dog. It looks almost like that muggle dog Pom-something."

"Pomeranian?"

"Yes, it is a small fluffy fur ball that camouflages itself when frighten or causing mischief. They also have the ability to become transparent mostly used as a defense so they can not be captured unless they want too."

"Another animal? Are you trying to turn my house into a zoo?"

"A Magical Zoo, dear Anthony. My friend has always loved animals but rarely had time to have one of his own. I believe with Haraldr at school and you coming and going all the time Loki needs a companion."

"He's got Jor."

"As much as we all love the little snake, Haraldr is going to need him at the school when he returns from break. This little PuffPup will be perfect for him." Jareth smiled before knocking on the cottage door.

"How do you know that?" The genius asked but was ignored.

"Blessed be Brother and greeting to you Prince Anthony of Midgard." Evelynn greeted opening the door for her guests.

"Blessed be Sister."

"Hi call me Tony." The former mortal bowed entering the cottage. The little cottage was warm and welcoming it was a lot bigger on the inside. It must be a magic thing.

"My brother tells me that you are looking for a companion for Prince Loki."

"I'm thinking about it. I've never seen a PuffPup before."

"Come than to the garden Prince Frodo has been helping me with this litter as they have been a bit more rambunctious." Evelynn smiled. The Elf led them to the glass doors leading to the back garden. There among the flowers was the Halfling surrounded by what looked like floating puffs of fur. To Tony they looked like floating cotton balls of different colors.

"Hey Frodo, why are they flying?"

"Greetings Prince Anthony, the Pups are happy so they float around like butterflies. PuffPups are most popular pet among children of the shire." Frodo stood up and gathered the happy colorful puffs.

"Prince Frodo has been helping me with this year's litter." Evelynn smiled with a slight reddening of her pale cheeks.

"That is kind of Prince Frodo." Tony commented. He gave Jareth a knowing look tilting his head to the Halfling then darting his eyes to the king's sister. Jareth was no fool if he was a friend of Loki's then he was as smart as they come. He watched as the Goblin King connected the dots in an instant and looked at him in surprise. Tony just nodded his head then went back to looking at the pups as sign to just act normal. "Hey why is that little guy hiding?"
