"Hunter, where are we going?" You ask as you set your suitcase on the ground for Hunter to load into the trunk of the taxi.

"The airport silly." He smirks and closes the trunk.

"Duh, but I mean after."

"I guess we'll have to see where the next available plane is going."

"You mean you didn't plan anything out?" You gawk at him.

His grin grows wider as he opens the door for you to get in, he knows you can't stand chaos. "Nope, we're taking this as it comes and you can't do anything to stop it." He tells the driver to head to the airport before wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you close, his other hand claiming yours as he kisses your cheek. "This is crazy." You mumble and Hunter smiles, his breath warm against your cheek.

"Yeah, but I want crazy. Preferably, your crazy." You blush and giggle, Hunter kissing you softly. You get to the airport and get inside, Hunter's hat making an appearance makes you giggle again.

"What..?" He chuckles and you kiss him softly.

"I love you."

He grins, "I love you too. Now pick a flight."

Your eyes roam the board and point to a flight leaving ten minutes from now. "Chicago." He murmurs and you nod.

"Let's go!" You say excitedly. He hurries to grab two tickets and then grabs your hand as you run to your gate.

Since it's well past midnight security is light and you get through in record time, sprinting for the right gate. They are just closing the door when Hunter and you reach it and Hunter passes the tickets over, panting wildly.
"Sorry it's not first class baby, next time." He says softly in your ear as you search for seats on the plane in the middle there is a man snoozing in the center seat and Hunter shakes his arm lightly and asks him to move over. The man looks upset until he glances over at your hopeful face. He lets you slide in and he takes the end seat, mumbling something about claustrophobia.

"Are we really doing this?" You turn to ask Hunter as the captain welcomes you to the flight.

"Believe it." Hunter smiles. At that moment his phone goes off.

He pulls his phone out to see messages from Betsy. "Betsy is going berserk. She wants to know where I'm at and if you're with me." He chuckles and you kiss his lips. "Well I'm definitely right here with you." He holds you close and kisses your forehead.

"Yes, you are." You giggle and cut his phone off. "Your assistant to your manager says no calls or texts."

He grins, "Yes ma'am. You sure know what's best for my benefit..like going to Chicago." You laugh and rest your head against his shoulder.

Even though it's a short flight you've had an extremely long day, soon you feel yourself drifting off and as the plane flies on you sleep, nestled against Hunter, the armrest unneeded between the two of you. His body provides warmth on the cold flight. Far too soon he's shaking you awake.

"Five more minutes." You moan, burying your face into his chest as he turns toward you.

"Afraid I can't give that to you sweetheart, just hold out for a little while longer."

You nod sleepily and rub your eyes, looking at Hunter, he looks completely exhausted.

"I hope you brought money with you." Your mind clicks on the fact you need somewhere to sleep.

"Don't worry (y/n), I've got it covered."

He helps guide you off of the plane into the almost empty airport, all of the people traveling seem either tired or happy and everything has a surreal feeling about it, well it's past 3, it kind of makes sense.
