Hunter invited you to come along on tour with him and Lady Antebellum and Sam Hunt for a few weeks. It's been about three months since you've seen him since he's gone to the UK and you've missed him a whole lot. You've almost been in a relationship with him for a year and though that he's busy, he always makes time to call. You get off the plane in Boston and take a cab to the venue. You text Hunter that you're there and he texts back excitedly with what seems dozens of emojiis. You giggle to yourself and you see Hunter speeding through the parking lot on a golf cart, with what seems to be Dave Haywood. You laugh and cover your mouth, pulling your suitcase with you.

"Babe! You're here!" He parks and jumps off, going to you and picking you up, proceeding to spin you around. You laugh and he sets you down, kissing you softly. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too..also hi Dave." You wave at him and he waves, watching the two of you.

"Hi, (y/n)."

"Here, let me help." Hunter grabs your suitcase and lifts it effortlessly onto the cart. "Hop on." He extends his hand to you and you take it, stepping lightly onto the vehicle. "So, things are pretty crazy around here today, but you didn't miss Coffee House. After we drop Dave off we are headed straight there."

"Sounds great." You sigh, you've been awake for a long time and honestly you want to sleep so you will be alert for the show.

"Don't worry, there's coffee waiting and you can have some down time before the show." He laughs, catching your tone.

You jerk to one side as he veers to the left. "Watch where you're going Hayes!" Dave chuckles.

"Hey, you already had your chance to drive! Don't tell me how to drive." Hunter laughs as he pulls the cart to a stop. You trade places as Dave gets off and you wave as you drive off.

You smile softly and he takes your hand. "I'm glad you're here...It's not the same without you."

You blush, "I'm glad I'm here too."

His manager Dan comes over once the cart stops and grabs your suitcase, "Y'all can go in for coffeehouse and I got your bag (y/n)" you smile and thank him before Hunter pulls you along. He squeezes your hand as you walk the hall together and before he reaches the room, he leans over and kisses you softly. He drops your hand and he's announced, making you smile at the cheers when he walks in. You walk in when the attention is all focused on him and move over to grab a cup of coffee. He looks at you for a spilt second and smiles as you take a sip of your coffee. You don't pay any attention to the fans till one brings up a question about you.

"So what's going on with you and (y/n)?"

Hunter blushes and you shrink back a little. The question was asked with some strained tone and you can tell the girl who asked it doesn't think highly of you.

"What do you mean?" Hunter counters.

"Is it true you are still dating?"

"Not that it's any of your concern, yes we are. And she's actually always closer to me than you might think." He avoids your eyes and you understand why. You don't want to cause any trouble for him or for anyone else. He calls on another girl.

"Have you written any songs about (y/n)?"

"Um... Yes." You choke on the swallow of coffee that you just took in. Someone at your table pats you on the back to help you get control of your coughing.

This time he meets your eyes for a brief moment, enjoying the look of surprise on your face. 'Songs? About you? There's no way.'

"Which ones?" A third girl asks.
