You sit in the back of Coffee House, simply watching Hunter taking pictures and talking with the fans. You smile to yourself and pretend to be interested with the people who you sat with but all of you are just waiting in anticipation. Finally he approaches your table and he says hello, shooting you a special smile. It's been too long. You can barely contain yourself as he goes through the motions, acting completely normal. Finally when it's your turn to take a picture the photographer smiles at you, she knows who you are. Hunter hugs you and whispers in your ear before he leaves; "come find me before the show. Be careful." You nod slightly and smile as he walks away.

You move out of the room and when the girls are gone you pull out your pass and slip it around your neck before you sneak off though the arena. You pass through so many doors you just hoped you're in the right place. You see lots of people and sigh with relief. You walk over and see Matt and Andy.

"(Y/n)!"

They hug you and you giggle, "Hey guys."

"Thank God, you're here. He's been talking about you non stop." You blush and they chuckle, "He's in his dressing room." You smile and walk to his dressing room, knocking on the door before walking in.

He looks up and grins, walking over to you. "Hi babe." He pulls you into his arms and kisses you.

"I missed you." He mumbles against your mouth.

"I missed you too." You reply.

You and Hunter have been together for over a year. Hunter always tells you that you were special. The fan that never left his mind from the moment he met you. And he never wants the fame to change you. After all of the press his last relationship got, and the messy breakup... That he still insists was not your fault, he convinced you to keep things quiet. But it's hard.

Hunter continues to kiss you until the both of you can't breathe. Though you break apart he holds you in his arms, one hand caressing your face.

"When are you going to be home?" You ask, looking into his eyes, knowing the answer is a long way away and knowing that it's likely, again, that you will barely see him when he does indeed come home.

His breaks are busy and full of people... People who can't find out about you. Sometimes you wish that Hunter would just stop protecting you. You just want to love him and let the whole world know how much you care. Hunter's eyes grow sad as he looks at you.

"Not for a little while.." He frowns and you nod, frowning. "Yeah.."

He pulls you into his arms and holds you close, "Hunter..?"

"Yeah?"

"I think it's time.."

He pulls away and looks at you, confused. "Time...?"

You nod, "Hunter..I don't want to be a secret anymore." You sigh and look down. You hear Hunter sigh, "Hunt...I know you're scared but I'm scared too. I liked being secret for a while, it was fun sneaking around...we've been together over a year and I don't want it to be a secret that I love you."

Hunter steps away and pinches the bridge of his nose. "I'm just not ready for that." He says quietly.

"Well if you're not ready than maybe I'm not ready to stay in a relationship completely based on lies and secrets." You storm out of the dressing room and down the hall, ignoring the looks you receive from those around you.

The worst part is, Hunter doesn't even chase you, he can't. He's too scared of the secret getting out. It cuts you right down to your heart. Your phone rings and you pull it out, hitting ignore as soon as you see it's from Hunter. Your already regretting the explosion but you know that it was for the best. You walk through the doors to the event center and wait around in the crowd with all the rest of the fans. Because now that's just what you are, a single face in the crowd. After all, if Hunter really loved you he would have fought for you, would have come after you.
