(Your POV)
You walk into the lodge, rolling your luggage behind you. You had grabbed the last room for the lodge and was so grateful. It was in Gatlinburg Tennessee and it was a popular vacation spot since it was so close to the mountains. You check in and grab your key, heading to the elevator. Once you're settled in the empty elevator besides your bag, a voice calls out for you to hold the doors. You quickly stop the doors from shutting and a man a little taller than yourself shakes snow from his gloves, hat and coat. "Three please."

You find your voice, "Yeah..same floor as me." You punch the button and the doors close.

He chuckles, "Hi."

"Hi." You lock eyes then you look away with a blush. Well until the elevator stops unexpectedly and you fall onto him.

(Hunter's pov)
"What the... You okay?" I right the girl who's clutching me to keep from falling down and step forward to hit the button... No movement, no response. I take off my hat and wipe my brow with the back of my sleeve. "Looks like we're stuck." I tell her, trying to chuckle without sounding nervous.

"What if you push that button?" She points to the emergency button and I nod and try it. Still no response. Maybe it sets off a silent alarm at the front desk. I pull out my phone and out of the corner of my eye I see she does the same. "Anything?" She asks me and I turn to look at her to shake my head no. "Oh my gosh!" She gasps as I look up.

I smile at her a little, "aren't you glad you held the elevator?" I extend a hand, "Hun'er Hayes, nice to meet you."

(Your POV)
"Yeah....I'm (Y/n) (L/n)."

He smiles as you shake his offered hand. "Nice to meet you."

"Probably would be better if it was better circumstances."

He chuckles, "Probably."

You can't help but smile but then look around. "How long do you think we'll be here?"

He shrugs, "I don't know the answer to that one. I wish I did." You lean against the elevator and swallow hard, "You okay?" He asks and you nod.

"Yeah.."

"You're not a fan of close spaces?"

You can't help but give a small giggle, "Too many scary movies of elevators dropping.."

He chuckles, "We won't drop."

"You can't promise that." You laugh and he chuckles.

"I then give you the ability to cling to me with all your being and scream in my ear on the way down okay?"

You throw your head back with a laugh, "Thanks so much Hayes."

(Hunter's pov)
When she laughed I felt a little flutter in my stomach. She has a beautiful smile. I get to ignore the sweat beading around my temples, I'm not a big fan of tight spaces either. I walk over and try pressing the emergency button again, nothing. I lose it a bit and slam my palm into the panel of buttons and groan. "You okay?" She asks and I take a deep breath.

"Yeah, I'm fine... So... How's your vacation going? What have you seen so far? And what other stops did you have planned out?"

"Vacation? How do you know-"

I point to the luggage tag on her suitcase which has tipped over, bending down to pick it up. "You flew in today. I decided vacation was more fun than business so I took a guess." I look up at her and smile.

(Your POV)
You laugh, "Would you believe I live in Franklin?"

"No! Really? Need some time alone?"
