Letter Leads To Love (part 2 to previous)

The next morning, you and Hunter wake up to a nice breakfast. There's bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, and pancakes. You sit at the table and begin to eat with him. "So..what's on the agenda for today, you two?"

You swallow and smile, "Well..I'm going to show Hunter around."

You grin and he places a hand on yours, "Yeah, she promised she would yesterday."

Your mom beams, "That sounds lovely. You should show him the old drive-in. I think they're showing Cars tonight." She says with a wink, knowing you love Disney movies. "Or you can meet up at the bonfire?"

You look at Hunter with a smile, "I'm good with either." You grin and giggle.

"Well I'm up for whatever as well." Hunter stares at you and you blush as you realize his gaze is drawing the attention of your parents.

"Well, we're going to have to choose soon. So pick!" You look down at your empty plate.

"Let's just roll with it and see where the day takes us."

You nod and scamper away, clearing your place and bolting upstairs to get ready for the day.

"So... Where to first?"

You jump and almost poke yourself in the eye with your mascara wand as Hunter pops his head into your doorway. "Butt out! I'm not ready yet!" You half yell half laugh. But Hunter just walks in and flops down on your bed, watching you get ready.

"Hurry up! I'm bored." He whines.

This makes you deliberately take longer, watching in satisfaction as he fixes you with a look of mock annoyance.

"Really?" He whines and you can't help but laugh.

"Really." You finish your makeup a few minutes later and grab your purse. "I'm ready.."

He sighs and throws his arms up playfully. "Thank God!" You look at him and he chuckles, "I'm playing. You look beautiful..you always do but you don't need makeup."

You give him a small smile, "Thank you."

"Come on, it's time to explore your town!" He grabs your hand and leads you downstairs.

"Now, it's not all that... But it's home." You gesture for Hunter to turn down the Main Street. "You can park wherever you want."

"So... Here?" He abruptly stops and you turn around to make sure no one is behind you.

"No! In a parking space silly!"

Hunter pulls into an available space and comes around to help you out.

"This is Main Street." You wave your hands about and he smiles. He puts his arm around your shoulders as you start to walk together and you smile, prouder than you've ever been. Until a group of your coworkers appear a few blocks away, some of them you get along with fine but most of them are into anything other than country and complain when you ask for it to be played in the office. And they really aren't half as bad as the girls who you went to school with. They can be downright evil.

"(Y/n) what's wrong?"

You look up at him, "My co-workers.."

He smiles, "Well let's go say hello.."

"No..I mean, they're probably busy and-"

"(Y/n)?!"

You look up to see them coming your way. Oh no. "Yeah..hi guys." You force a smile on your face.

"Who's this?"

"Oh wait..isn't this the guy you've got a celebrity crush on?"

You blush darkly, Hunter gives them a smile, "Probably..hi, I'm Hunter."
