Days passed in a blur. I took the entrance exam two days after Miss Narissa told me that she'll arranged the time and schedule for me to take the exam.

And now, three days ago, Nana Lory is finally with me. Pero ang ironic lang dahil kakadating niya pa lang at hindi pa kami masyadong nakakapag-catch up, ay ako naman ang aalis dito sa bahay para lumipat sa apartment na binili ni Lolo para sa akin.

"Huwag kang mag-alala, dadalaw naman ako kapag weekends. Tsaka hindi ka malulungkot dahil kasama mo naman si Helen." Sabi sa akin ni Nana habang inaayos ang mga damit ko sa may luggage ko.

"Pero kasi Nana, kakadating niyo pa lang. Hindi mo pa nga naiku-kwento sa akin yung nangyari sa Japan habang nandito ako then now, I'm going to leave this house." I whined and slumped my body on my bed.

After I took the entrance exam, Lola started teaching me how to cook. She asked me what are the dishes I'm confident enough that'll be good, and the only food I can perfectly cook is ramen.

Lola also asked me if I know how to cook a boiled, well done egg. And I answered honestly that, no one can boil a meaner egg than me.

I thought she'll be mad at me but she just ended up laughing. Then Lola called Mom and told her that I don't know how to cook happily. Yes, happily.

"I remember the time you came here at our house and I asked you if you know how to cook. Your daughter really grew up just like you." Tuwang-tuwa na pagkukwento ni Lola kay Mom at narinig ko naman ang tawanan nila sa kabilang line.

I even heard Dad teasing Mom who learned how to cook after Lola's instructions. Mom's mother, my grandma, died at the age of fifty because of heart failure. Mahina na ang katawan nito ng magdalaga daw si Mom kaya hindi na ito naturuan kung papaano magluto.

Well, grandma didn't left Mom alone, because she had granpa. But grandpa also left after Mom gave birth to me. Ang sabi naman ni Mom, at least daw ay na-meet ako ni grandpa bago nito sinamahan si grandma.

One thing's for sure, they are happy because they're with each other's side.

"Anong kaya mo ng lutuin ngayon?" Tanong ni Nana pagkatapos niyang isara ang bag at umupo siya sa tabi ko.

"I can cook something decent now. Except the ones that has complicated procedures." I answered and then I grinned. "Pero ramen pa rin ang specialty ko."

Natawa si Nana at pabirong kinurot ang mga pisngi ko. Ilang segundo lang ay may kumatok at pumasok si Roy.

"Wala ka ng naiwan?" Tanong ni Nana ng sumunodd siya sa paglabas ko.

"Wala na, Nana." Sagot ko. At nagpaalam na ako sa kanila. I kissed Lolo and Lola's cheeks then hugged Nana before going inside the car.

"Dadalaw kami kapag weekends, My lady. Kapag may gusto kang ipabili ay tawagan mo lang ako." Nakangiting sabi ni Helen ng buksan ko ang bintana.

I gave her a thumbs up before the car started moving.

"Salamat sa paghatid, Roy. Ingat sa pagda-drive pabalik!" I said before bidding him good bye before entering my new apartment.

I sat at the sofa and stared blankly at the cream colored wall.

I have two days, before the class starts. Bukas ay sasamahan ako ni Miss Narissa para ilibot sa buong campus. Ipapakita niya rin daw ang magiging office ko, na temporary office niya din as an acting Principal of the University.
