56. There is no luck

En couldn't wait any longer.

He fined this rude of this stranger, to take my hand without his permission. With another drink down his throat, the man in red came over.

I stood there, completely paralyzed.

The man lifted his mask a little, revealing himself as Aikawa. For a moment, I thought it was Kaiman, sighting out loud, "Oh...it is just you."

"What do you mean just me? I bust my ass to get here and you..."

"Hey!"

The sorcerer in red looked far from friendly, opening his mask. I feared for this stranger to be killed, standing before him, "He just asked me to dance with him"

"Tough..." he grabbed my arm and pulled me over to his side, "...you dance with me." With wide eyes, I watched the sorcerer his mouth. Worried of the stranger, I raised my hand before his face, "He is not worth the trouble En." Instantly, the mouth was closed, "If you say so...shall we?" En however, glared at the guy before we both stood closer to the stage, far away from him. Aikawa dropped his head in worry, "I messed it up...again."

The two devils did the same thing, while Risu was being furious, "That good for nothing piece of...ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

"Calm down Risu. That En would interrupt was not planned."

The devil whined out loud, "So I dance with her for nothing?!"

Asu shook his head, "Not entirely"

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"Don't you see..." he pointed towards En and me, "...she is looking over to Kaiman."

Risu snorted, "Oh wow, she looks, what an improvement!"

He didn't understand what his devil comrade is after. Asu didn't explain it any further, just watching how it all goes. While looking very close of what I do.

He was right, with worry I looked over to Aikawa, feeling sorry for the guy.

"What are you looking at?" demanded En to know.

"The guy you wanted to make into mushroom soup" this sorcerer even eats his opponents, apparel because he doesn't like to waste food. En stared deep into my eyes now, "Do you feel something for him?"

"Of course!"

His glare only darkened, "Pity, worry and ashamed."

"Ashamed?"

"That you refused to let me choose who I dance with. He didn't do anything wrong"

En begged thought otherwise, "He took my position of being your dance partner..." seeing my face turn sad, he sighted, "...but if you must, you can give him the next dance."

"Really?"

The man in red nodded, leaning closer to my face, "But if he makes one wrong move on you, he will part of my dinner." He seems to have noticed something that I don't, grabbing my chin. Before I knew what hits me, his lips crashed into mine.

Aikawa stood there in shock, not able to do anything about it. His hands clenched into fists, seeing this sorcerer on my lips. That really hit a nerve there, "Grrrrr, I wanted to kiss her first!" Aikawa lost all the rules he supposed to keep up, he wanted to claim his right as my boyfriend right here and now.

Asu and Risu panicked, having a bad feeling about this, "No, don't do this!!!"

This feeling was awkward, as En released me. Still shocked by this, I didn't see the man coming over. The sorcerer in red held my body close, "What do you want?"

Aikawa had to control his temper, bowing down in respect, "Still, a dance with the...lady." The last part took a minute, before his lips allowed it to leave his mouth. He was angry, very angry right now, but didn't show it. The man in red didn't like how I left his side, grabbing Aikawa's hand. En had no chance but to let it happen, but at least he got what he wanted. Smiling slightly, he went over to the buffet, seeing Shin and Noi almost eating all alone.

"En?"

The sorcerer in red ignored the voice, knowing who that is.

"Eeeeeennnnnn?"

"What do you want Chota?!" He didn't want to see this bird man now, but he demanded for him to turn around. En backed off instantly, as Chota's lips former for a kiss, "And where is mine?"

"Over my dead body!!!!"

"Just one little smooch?"

"I said no!!!"

The funny way those two grownups run around, distracted the devils to watch the dance floor. Chidaruma of course, had to be in the first row, cheering on the bird man with two foam hands, "Go bird man, go bird man~" Gura Gura had his own way of enjoying the chase, giving another devil some cash, "My money is on En."

No one looked how Aikawa and I danced.

He saw his chance to get me out of here. Without explaining he grabbed my wrist and out the hall. Didn't find this funny at all, "What the hell are you doing?!"

"Saving your ass woman!"

"I don't even know you!"

Suddenly, he stopped, "You do."

"Then, who are you?"

Aikawa looked down the corridor, pushing me into a dark corner. I jumped at the feeling of being lifted up and pressed against the wall, "...what are you doing?" Aikawa didn't answer; just move his head forward into a hot, passionate kiss. As try as I might, my hands hit him to stop, while his tongue explored my mouth. His hands held my legs in place, preventing me from falling. This man didn't stop, which felt like hours.

Once our lips parted, we panted hard.

Aikawa asked me with a smile, if I know now who he is. I nodded slowly, as his hands released my legs, "Yeah...I do..." The man didn't feel it, how I grabbed on to his clothes, the minute I felt the ground again.

"I am glad...hey..."

Aikawa didn't expect me to throw him over his shoulder, landing hard on his back, "What the hell?!!!!!" With the back of my hand, I rubbed my mouth clean, feeling disgusted to be kissed by a stranger, "You are not right in the head!"

Not looking at him, Aikawa growled deeply, "I try to save you and this is the thanks I get?!"

"I didn't ask to be saved especially not from someone I don't...don't...Kaiman?????"

Resting himself on his arms, he lied there, while his lizard head looked annoyed in my direction, "Duh!"

For a minute we both just stared at each other.

"..." What should I say?

"..." thank you for saving me?"

"..."Sorry that I hurt you?"

"...okay...never mind that..." There you go.

A vein popped up on Kaiman's face, "Is that all you have to say?!!!!!!"
