Okay, so before we begin, I have an update regarding the AO3 version of this fic. You may have noticed that many of the notes in that version have been altered. My fic was "blocked" on AO3 because I mentioned other sites where I write non-fanfic content. Apparently, even mentioning them in the notes was not allowed, so I had to go through the fic and remove all mentions of those sites. I can't even say which sites they were here, as I don't want the fic to get blocked again because of that, so all I'll say concerning that is to please follow me on those "other sites" if you can, especially the ones where, if you view my original writing, I can get paid. I'm going through a rough time financially, so your views there would really help me out. If you need to know what those are, contact me, and I'll share a link privately. Having to go through and edit my fic so that it's "AO3 compliant" has not helped my mood or stress. Oh, and to the person who reported me (because god forbid I try and get my name out more to help me possibly become a more successful writer), I don't really believe in karma, but I hope you end up getting what you deserve...
Moving on... I wanted to give a shout-out to Klang7 and toonstation. Klang made a script based on my fic, I guess you could say it's an adaptation of what the fic would be like if it were made into a show. You can only see it on a certain site (that I'm no longer allowed to say), but if you're following me on the "D" site, there's a link to it there. Thank you very much, Klang7! I appreciate the work you did in bringing that version to life! As for Toonstation, they made some images of Luz from my fic. Again, I wish I could say which site they are on, but I can't... (again, whoever reported me, hope karma gives you EVERYTHING you deserve and nothing less), but if you're following me on other sites (that I can no longer mention), you should be able to find them. I may post a few of those pictures in the AO3 and Wattpad versions of the fic. Thank you toonstation. I appreciate the art you made for me.
With all that out of the way, let's get this show on the road!
Weeks had passed since Anne, Luz, Amara, and the Plantars had returned to Amphibia. The group slowly settled into new routines. When they weren't busy going on a mission, they spent much of their time training. Polly, however, felt training was a waste of her time.
"I've got legs; I can already kick butt. What do I need to train for?" complained the tadpole.
"You need to train so that you can keep kicking butt," said Sasha, "otherwise your skills will fade, and you won't be an effective fighter."
"Pfft," said Polly dismissively, "training is boring."
Sasha rolled her eyes at the tadpole who threw a fit like a little kid. She looked over to Luz and Anne to try to get them to talk to the tadpole, though someone else spoke up first.
"Maybe I can help with your training," said Vincent, approaching the group. "I think I can come up with some ways to make it more interesting."
Polly shook her head. "I doubt it."
"Well, let me try anyway. Who knows? Maybe you'll start liking training," said Vincent.
"That'd be great if you can," said Sasha. "I've got a lot to take care of; I think we all do. If you could help, it would take a huge weight off my shoulders."
"Fine," groaned the tadpole, "I'll at least give it a try."
"Good luck," said Luz. "I'm gonna go and check in with Maddie. She wanted to show me more about the glyphs."
"I've got my own training to take care of," said Anne. "Lilly said she'd help me."
"I'm gonna go meet up with Raine," said Amara. "I've been wanting to talk to them and learn more about how they do magic."
