My Paradise (Wolf's Rain Fan-Fic)

Chapter 55

I hear running, right before a couple soldiers turn the corner near us, with guns pointing in our direction. Before they even have time to react, I was already wolf, and attached to the first one's throat, knocking him onto his back. I jump away as a few bullets are fired by the second guy, all miss except for one, which grazes my shoulder. I grab my shoulder. "Blue!" Hige yells before getting up and launching towards me, the man is able to shoot Hige's collar off, before Hige grabs my wrist, and runs through the two men. We disappear before the two soldiers can recover.

Tsume's P.O.V.

"Water...give me water..." I hear a male say before the door opens and a familiar scent finds me. "Let go! Let go of me!" I hear Toboe's voice, and immediately look out through my cage bars. "Toboe!" I yell. "Tsume! I said let go!" Toboe says before a cage is opened and the two soldiers throw him inside, before turning towards the old she-wolf. One shoots the high-powered air gun at her, knocking her unconscious. Toboe and I both look out our cages in shock. The she-wolf's cage is opened and a guard grabs the she-wolf's foot, dragging her out of the cage. "Hey...let me out...what's going to happen to me?" the male in another cage says before sneezing and watching as they drag the woman's body away. "Wait a minute...that lady...she was a wolf?" the human male says. The door to this cage room closes soon after. "Tsume--" I cut Toboe off. "What happened to Hige?" I ask. "I don't know. We got split up, where's Kiba? I thought he was with you." Toboe says. "I don't know, Kiba's probably somewhere inside the keep." I say. "What about Yuna?" he asks. I narrow my eyes and clench my fists again. "Tsume? Where's Yuna?" Toboe asks after a while of silence. "I...I don't know...she was with me when the soldiers knocked us out with those damn guns, but when I woke up, I was here, and she was nowhere to be found. I can't even find her scent in this damn place." I say locking my jaw angrily. "Oh no..." he says sadly. "Don't say it like that! She's fine!" I yell. "How do you know for sure? You said yourself you couldn't find her scent at all! What if they...what if the soldie--" I cut him off. "I said she's fine dammit!" I say gritting my teeth. "Tsume..." Toboe trails off and silence fills the room. "You don't think Kiba's been...killed do you?" Toboe asks changing the subject. "If anything had happened I'm sure we would've felt it. " I say. "Kiba's alive. They both are. They have to be." I say. "What do you think is going to happen to us? If we don't do something, we'll all get split up, and we won't be able to save Cheza! What are we going to do...what do we do?" Toboe asks frightened. "I don't know. But none of that's going to matter if we don't get out of here!" I say. "But, how Tsume? They're gonna come back and kill us just like that old lady! We'll never see the others again..." he says trailing off. "You're starting to whine runt." I say. "And we won't get to Paradise either." he says. "We ARE going to Paradise! Do you hear me? And we ARE going to find Kiba and Yuna. I'll be damned if I let it end like this!" I say clenching my fists tightly. "Excuse me. Are the two of you wolves?" The human male asks. We just look at him. He falls to the ground, crossing his legs lazily. "You are aren't you." he says. "So what, who the hell are you?" I ask. "Everything that was written in the Book Of The Moon, is it true?" he asks. "Hey mister, how come you're locked up in here, you're a human." Toboe says. The human chuckles a bit. "If you're looking for Cheza, I was with her." the human says. Toboe and I grab the metal bars as we look towards him wide eyed. "The soldiers brought us here together. But I don't know where they're keeping her." The human says. "We gotta get out of here now!" Toboe says. I back up and slam against the cage door again. Toboe soon follows my example and does the same thing.

Third Person's P.O.V.

"Can you sense it my dear? This feeling of joy within my heart. Everything is about to begin. Yes, he will come. Soon, my beloved will come to me at last." the heavily armored woman says gazing up at the globe the Flower Maiden resided in.

Kiba's P.O.V.

I throw open the double doors at the end of the hall. As I do, my eyes widen at the sight of Cheza being held captive within a globe of glowing Green water. "Cheza!" I say and run to the globe. "Are you alright?" I ask her. She doesn't answer. "At last...I finally found you." I say and place my hand against the globe. "Why won't you answer me?!" I ask concerned. "The White wolf." I hear a woman's voice from behind me say. I turn on my heel to face her. "You are the one. The wolf chosen by the Flower. How beautiful you are." she says. I turn wolf and growl at her, before launching towards her. I don't make it far, some kind of magic keeps me from moving. I continue to growl and struggle against the weight that seems to only get heavier the more I struggle. Until finally, I collapse to the ground. I still snarl and growl but I could no longer stand. The heavily armored woman simply walks past me towards Cheza. "Come. Open your eyes. Open them, for my Paradise." she says. "Kiba...Kiba..." I hear Cheza's voice in my head, before a violent bubbling and shattering sound finds my ears. My eyes snap open. I snarl at the woman who's making Cheza do this as water surrounds me. "My prayers have been answered. Cheza, we must feast in celebration, don't you think?" the woman asks and laughs.

Yuna's P.O.V.

I wake up from a violent shake and the sound of rattling catches my attention. I open an eye, then two, then raise myself, and look around, it was dark, too dark, almost like something was draped over me. Where am I? I look around more. another violent shake and rattle, and a gust of wind finds me. 'Tsume? Tsume where are you?' I bark. No answer. A faint glimpse of light catches my attention, and I look in that direction. the corner of the cloth flickered in the wind, showing bars, and light. I was in a cage. They weren't kidding,  they're taking me back to the Arena. I growl as the cage I am in jumps a bit, before everything goes silent. "We should get some gas before leaving the keep. Come on." I hear a familiar voice say. It was the soldiers from earlier. So, we haven't left the keep yet...good. "But, what about the she-wolf?" another familiar voice of a soldier from earlier asks. I hear a chuckle, before footsteps approach. I quickly lay down and close my eyes, acting unconscious. Light floods through the cage. "See, she's down for the count still, while we're at it, lets get a couple drinks too." The main soldier from earlier says. "Alright, sure, why not." the other soldier says before the cage is dark again and footsteps recede. Now's my chance! I get up quickly and inspect the bars. I can bend these just enough to escape...I know I can. With that thought, I begin tugging at the bars.
