My Paradise (Wolf's Rain Fan-Fic)

Chapter 72

Kiba's P.O.V.

"Cheza!" I yell as Darcia adjusts his grip on her, making her cry out in pain. Darcia throws her to the side and growls at me. 'I will be the one who opens Paradise.' Darcia says. "I'm not gonna let you do it." I say and glare at him. 'But why? Though opposite in nature, are we not both wolves? It makes no difference which one of us opens it. Paradise will be the same.' He says. "That's a lie! The only thing you'll open is a world of darkness!" I say before launching at him. He meets me in the middle and we crash into each other, once we land again, we circle before attacking. I have to keep him away from Cheza! I attack him again, small sections of blood decorate the snow around us as we continue to fight. I start to smell a lot of Cheza's Blood and look towards her concerned, she was raising herself. I looking towards her, I'm unable to block Darcia's next attack, and I'm sent flying backwards. As I try to get up, Darcia pins me to the ground, and brings his head back before launching his canines at me, I brace myself for the blow but it doesn't come, instead, Darcia is attacked and thrown backwards by Yuna and Tsume. They both snarl at Darcia as they both guarded me. They both stood there glaring at Darcia. I get up quickly. Always just in time.

Yuna's P.O.V.

I continue to glare at Darcia as he raises himself from the ground. "Talk about pathetic." Tsume speaks. "Where's Hige?" Kiba asks. Tsume and I don't answer. 'Why do you continue this struggle? It's pointless. Paradise cannot be opened by the likes of you.' Darcia says. "Save your breath pal, we already know." Tsume says. "And we don't give a damn, we're just here to kick your a**." I add. The mountain we're on begins to shake violently and we turn towards Cheza, who was walking up towards the base. "Cheza!" Kiba says and starts running towards her, so does Darcia. I launch at Darcia as wolf, biting into his shoulder. He snarls angrily, and snaps his head to the side, his teeth sink into my side, earning a loud yelp, before throwing me away. My body crashes to the ground, bounces a few times, before sliding to a halt. A trail of blood leads away from my body. Bastard! Darcia makes his way towards me, snarling as he went. I rise from the ground and snarl at him angrily. 'You'll pay for that!' I snap before charging at him. He seems to smile mockingly before charging at me as well. We meet half way, each of us trying to gain the higher ground, he grabs onto my shoulder and pins me to the ground with his teeth. Darcia tries to get a hold of my neck but I snarl and claw at him with my paws, making it impossible for Darcia to attempt it, he reattaches to my shoulder, and I grab onto his left ear, earning a loud angry roar from him. Before either one of us notice, Tsume crashes into Darcia, throwing him off of me. Darcia howls in pain, at first I don't know why, until I notice I still had half of his ear in my mouth, I quickly spit it out, and try to roll to my feet. At first I can't, but after a few tries, I get up and start running after Tsume and Darcia who were already a ways away.

Kiba's P.O.V.

Almost there. Come on! Cheza reaches the edge of the hole in the mountain, and turns towards me. She starts to go off the edge and I reach out to her, but am unable to catch her. "Cheza!!!" I yell for her. She just smiles at me and falls.I stare in horror as she disappears into the darkness of the drop off.

Tsume's P.O.V.

Darcia was continuously slamming my back into a rock, though I wouldn't admit it, I was getting tired. It doesn't matter, he's away from Yuna, that's all I care about. I struggle to keep hold of him. 'Hang on Tsume!' I hear Yuna yell a few yards away. I'm able to hang on long enough for Darcia to stop slamming me into the rock, but as soon as Darcia stopped, and started to try to shake me off, I'm unable to hang on, and am sent flying a few feet away. I roll a few times and get half way up, before Darcia quickly attacks me one more time, before charging after Kiba and Cheza. Pain racks my body to the core as I'm tossed into the air again, before slamming to the ground.
