"Lets go, it looked clear up ahead, Hige found our way out of the city." Kiba says and starts walking. "It better not be another sewer." I say. "It isn't, I made sure of it." Hige says and follows Kiba. I mouth the words 'Thank God' and follow soon after. Toboe stayed behind near Tsume. We came to the center of life in this run-down city and made our way through the crowds of people. When we made our way out of the center of town, after a few minutes, I couldn't help but notice how quiet it was. "Something doesn't feel right.." I mumble so only they can hear. "It's fine, let's keep moving." Kiba says. "If you say so. But I'm keeping my eyes open." I mumble again. I looked from left to right as we walked, scanning alleyways and dark windows. The hairs on the back of my neck stood tall, though I saw nothing unusual. Toboe wasn't that far behind anymore, he was just a short distance behind me, though Tsume was still a ways back. I glimpse back, noticing Tsume had stopped. "Hold up." I say and turn towards Tsume. "Why'd you stop?" I ask. "I've changed my mind, I'm not coming with you guys." he says. My eyes widen. "What? Why not?" Toboe and I ask at the same time. "I'm just not. I've made up my mind." he says turning away. "Fine, you would've just slowed us down anyways." Kiba says. I turn towards him, same as Toboe. He had crossed his arms over his chest. The slight click of a gun being loaded catches my attention, and my head snaps up to the roof of an older building. The officer was pointing his rifle at Tsume, he had yet to realise I saw him, I look back to the others. "Hey guys..." I mumble. "Do what you want." Kiba mumbles, ignoring me. "Guys..." I mumble again once I look towards the other roof tops where more were zooming in on us with rifles. I look back towards Kiba and Tsume. "You're really pissing me off." Tsume says clenching his fists. "Guys!" I mumble louder, this seems to get their attention. "What?!" both ask annoyed. "The roofs." I mumble. Their eyebrows furrow, then a red dot appears on my abdomen and rises up. Tsume notices it first and looks behind himself, to a roof up ahead, while Toboe drifts to my side, grabbing my arm, obviously scared. I notice a Red dot on his head. I put him behind me, slowly back up to one of the buildings, trapping him in between me and the wall, and look up. It was the only way to protect him. The sounds of marching to our right catches my attention. A group was on the ground, blocking our way. We all move to face them, the others slowly walked backwards, to close ranks. "No sudden movements." Kiba says. I swear under my breath. "Ideas would be appreciated right about now." I mumble. "What do they want?" Toboe whispers. "Got me kid, just stay behind me, and keep quiet." I say.
