Chapter 15

-Mayah's POV-

"You're here because we have a new student attending this school and I'd like you to show him around,"

"All of us?" Rose asks.

"Not all at once. You're all in at least one of his classes. Mayah and Hazel, you two have the most classes with him. But I'd like all of you girls to make him feel welcome and show him around," he explained.

"What's his name?" Hazel asked.

"I believe it's... Hayes Grier," he said.

"No way," Hazel muttered.

"What did you say, Hazel?" The principal asked casually.

"I didn't say anything," Hazel lied.

"Hmm. Okay. Well you girls get back to class. He should be arriving soon," he said.

We quickly hurried out of his office and spotted a boy with brown hair and blue eyes.

I then realized that was Hayes.

Hayes sees me and waves to me.

I smile and wave back.

He jogs over to me.

"Hey, Mayah!" He says. I smile.

"Hey," I say back.

Hayes glances at Hazel. "Oh, hey Hazel!" He says.

"Hi," Hazel laughs awkwardly.

"So, do any of you have any classes with me?" He asks.

I stick my hand out. "Gimme your schedule," I say.

He hands it to me and I examine it.

"Hazel and I have periods 1,2 and 4 with you. Aspyn has period 3 with you and Rose has period 3 with you," I say, handing back his schedule.

He smiles. "Alright then. I guess Hazel, Mayah and I should get going," he says to Aspyn and Rose.

"Bye guys! See ya during lunch!" I say, walking away with Hayes and Hazel.

As Aspyn and Rose walk further from us, I stop Hazel and Hayes.

"Okay, spill. Do you guys know each other?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"Yeah.. We're kinda, sorta... Twins?" Hazel says, cautiously.

"What?! You didn't tell me?!" I demand.

"I just found out yesterday! Plus, I didn't get to meet Hayes for very long. He came home then left right after!"

"That's because I was hanging out with Mayah," Hayes says.

Hazel raises her eyebrows at the both of us. She leans toward my ear and whispers, "I'll meet you in class," then with a devious smirk, she ran away.

I glared at her.

"What was that all about?" Hayes asks.

I shrug, trying to ask as confused as he was. "I'm sure it was nothing. Here, I'll show you to class," I tell him.

-TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL-

I walk out of school, looking for Hazel and Aspyn. Rose got a ride home with Taylor. They were going out somewhere.

I finally see Hazel.

I jog up to her. "Hey! Where's Aspyn?" I ask her.

She checks her phone. "She's coming. She just got out of math,"

I nod.

I continue to scan the crowd for Aspyn when I see her running toward us.

We wait for her to catch up and then we all start walking toward my house.

I felt my back pocket of my shorts vibrating.

I quickly whip it out and press answer.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hey, My. Where are you?" I hear my twin brother, Connor ask.

"Um, I'm walking home. I just left school. Why?"

"Because I'm going home with my friends. I'm just letting you know in case Mom asks,"

"Okay. When will you be home?"

"Around 7:30,"

"Okay, see ya then,"

"Bye, My,"

"Bye, Con,"

"Who was that?" Hazel asks.

"My brother, Connor," I say.

"Wait I thought your brother's name was Dylan," Aspyn interrupts.

"Yes. But Connor's my twin brother," I say.

"Hey, we both have twins! Twinnies!" Hazel says. I laugh.

"Yea but-"

"Mayah!" I hear.

I look behind me, and I see Hayes running toward me.

"Hey, Hayes," I say.

He smiles. "Hi. Is it okay if I walk home with you guys?" He asks.

I look to Hazel. "Um, actually Hayes, we're going to Mayah's house. So you can walk home with us, just don't come to her house with us," she says.

He smiles. "No worries. I have football tonight, anyway,"

A/N: Sorry for a short chapter but I wrote this last minuteBut anyway... There is no point to this A/N. See you caterpillars later! Now for some reasons to not do a seppuku:
