Painting

Luke:

"So I like this shade, but I also like this shade," you tell Luke, holding up a color sample. "Oh, but this one's nice too."

You reach forward and grab another color sample, pointing to one.

"But this color would work wonders, too," you grab another.

"Natural light on this one would be beautiful," another color sample works its way into your hands.

"Imagine walking downstairs in the morning and this being all around your living room," you grab another one.

"Babe, babe, I think you got enough colors," Luke grabs your hands softly. "You wanted to go with a medium shade of blue, remember?"

"These are too light." He puts back three color samples that are too light.

"And this is too dark." He puts back one color sample.

You're left with one final color sample. "This is the one, babe."

Michael:

"This is gonna take forever," Michael whines, looking around the homogenous master bedroom.

You two decided that today you were going to paint all of the bedrooms to get it over with, but you two didn't realize how big the bedrooms are.

"Those are painting clothes, right?" Michael points to your outfit.

You nod.

"Stay still," he orders you.

Even though you hate being told to do stuff, you stood still.

He dips his roller into the paint holder thing and rolls it over your back.

You gasp at the odd sensation.

Before you can do anything, Michael grabs your body and pushes you gently against the wall, rubbing you right and left.

You laugh at his silly idea. "I wanna see!"

You walk away from the wall, seeing the dusty red color you chose stayed on the wall.

"We'll have to paint it over for the second coat, but it worked," you laugh.

Ashton:

"Do you remember how she told us to put it up?" You ask your boyfriend as the two of you stand in front of the table with the wallpaper on it.

"Nope. Do you?"

"No."

"Do you wanna google it?" He asks you.

"I think I remember some of it," you say, opening the paste carton and dumping some of it into the paint holder thing.

You grab a roller and notice Ashton copying your actions. You put the roller in the paste and roll it onto the wall.

Ashton helps you and soon the whole wall is covered with paste.

"Okay, now Ash you go up on the ladder," you instruct him.

He listens and you hold up the wallpaper, handing the top part to him.

"On three let's put it on the wall. One... two... three," The two of you slap the wallpaper to the wall and smooth it out.

He climbs down the ladder and you step back, his arm wrapping around your waist.

"It looks perfect," you sigh dreamily, leaning your head against his shoulder.

Calum:

"We should get the paint from the paint commercial where they're in an elevator and it's in an apartment, and that guy's holding one bucket while the other's holding like two..." Calum rambles from behind you.

"Cal, the paint company doesn't matter," you say.

"Yes it does! They did an outside view from that apartment and one couple was halfway done with the wall and they had clear, good strokes while the other couples had it half done and it was real streaky... What was the brand?" Calum mumbles the last question.

"Calum trust me. The brand doesn't matter, the paint color does," you stop in front of a paint color sample box and pick up the gray samples.

"Dutch Boy... Sherwin-Williams..." Calum looks around the paint section, trying to find the brand that he loves oh so much.

"Cal what do you think about this color?" You call out to your boyfriend.

You turn around, seeing him on the complete opposite side of the section.

You roll your eyes, grabbing the bucket and giving it to the woman at the desk.

You get it checked out. "Come on Calum, I'm leaving with or without you."

"But Y/N I found it! It's Marquee!"
