You stare at your phone, waiting for a call.

A text maybe.

Just a sign he still thinks of you.

You’re sitting in the café you two went to all of the time, on Christmas Day, wondering if he would be there for you.

You still love Ashton.

You wish he would just talk to you.

To see if he still thinks of you or not.

If he still cares.

You make a deal with yourself, give it one month.

If Ashton doesn’t reply in one month, then you call it quits and try to move on.

You turn your phone on and sigh, seeing that you should get to your friend’s Christmas party.

You stand up, shoving your phone in your bag and walking towards the door of the café, starring down at the floor.

He didn’t show.

You make a little noise as you run into someone and you look up, seeing the man that you loved.

“Ashton,” you whisper, looking into his hazel eyes.

“Y/N,” he whispers back. “You still look beautiful.”

You start to smile.

Maybe this Christmas isn’t as bad as you thought.
