“Y/N, pizza’s ready,” Ashton, your brother, calls from downstairs.

You walk out from your bedroom where you were reading fan fiction to downstairs, where there’s pizza waiting on the kitchen counter.

“Are we-oh,” you pause as you walk into the kitchen, spotting Ashton’s bandmates.

You’ve always felt awkward around them, and you have no clue why.

And you’ve felt even awkward-er ever since you’ve developed a crush on Luke.

“Hi Y/N,” Calum greets you.

“Hello,” you respond, slipping past him to grab a plate.

“Do you want to watch a movie with us, Y/N?” Ashton asks as you walk past the living room towards the stairs.

“Oh, I wouldn’t want to be a nuisance,” you reply.

“What does nuisance mean?” Ashton whispers to Luke.

“A person, thing, or circumstance causing inconvenience or annoyance,” Calum reads from his phone.

“You won’t be a nooseance,” Luke pronounces it wrong, resulting in Michael snorting in laughter. “Come sit next to me.”

You sigh, but sit next to Luke anyways.

He helps you out of the cart and smiles as you run up to the boys in your princess dress and tiara, smacking each of them with the sequin wand.

“Ow, why did she just hit me?” Luke cries out.

“She has to hit you first, then smell you,” Michael explains.

“Why does she smell us?” Ashton asks as you sniff his pant leg.
