Ashton:

“You can’t sit in your room all your life!” Your mom calls to you from outside your bedroom door.

“Let me be, mom! Let me bury myself in Tumblr, ice cream, and self-pity!” You yell back.

“Well there’s some boys here to see you,” she calls back.

“Are they cute?”

“Very!”

You open the bedroom door, walking down the hall to see Ashton, Luke, Michael, and Calum standing in your living room.

Each one is holding a container of mint chocolate chip ice cream, the flavor of the ice cream that you ordered at the ice cream parlor.

“The boys have something to tell you, Y/N,” Ashton nudges Calum standing next to him.

“I’m uh, sorry for glaring at you,” Calum stutters, his cheeks turning red.

“Me too,” Michael mumbles.

“Me, as well,” Luke mutters, “I’m ashamed in myself.”

“It’s okay,” you let out a small smile.

“We brought you ice cream, since you lost yours because of Calum,” Michael speaks up, holding out his container of ice cream.

“Thanks. Let’s have an ice cream party, I have Tumblr,” you say.

“I’ll bring the self-pity,” Luke grumbles.

Luke:

You reach up for the bacon on the top shelf.

Why do grocery stores do this?

They always put the good things at the top shelves.

An arm reaches up behind you and grabs the box of bacon.

You turn around to see Luke, and he holds out the box for you.

You grab it, saying a small “thanks” before throwing it into your grocery cart.

“So what did you have to do?” He asks, following as you push your cart along.

“For what?” You ask, stopping to grab a jug of chocolate milk.

Or four.

“Your mom, you had to leave early to do something for your mom, remember?” Luke reminds you.
