Ashton: (the picture is of your daughter)

You wake up to the sound of your phone ringing.

You groan, glancing at the clock. 2:42 A.M.

You answer your phone. "Hello?"

"You let her dye her hair gray and get a nose piercing," Ashton, your ex-husband hisses down the phone.

"Septum," you reply sleepily, snuggling down inside your blanket.

"I don't care what it's fucking called, all I care about is that it's on my daughter's face and that her hair makes her look like an old lady," Ashton hollers.

"Ashton, Morgan's a seventeen year old girl. If the government trusts her to elect the president next year I trust her to make her own decisions with her body," then you hang up the phone.

Calum:

You were seeing Calum the first time after the divorce.

For the two years prior to your divorce, the two of you had been arguing nonstop and it felt like you didn't love each other.

During the divorce you moved to America, settling down in a nice little town.

The two of you had decided you could take care of your five year old son, Timothy, the majority of the time while Calum would take care of him when he could.

He was on tour a lot, so that wasn't often.

But he finally got two days off so he flew out to where you and Timothy lived, planning to hang out with him for the next few free days.

You drive up to the hotel Calum's staying at, anxiety filling your body.

Your son's blabbering on in the backseat, excited to see his daddy.

You pull yourself and him out of the car, walking into the hotel where Calum's sitting on a couch in the lobby, on his phone.

"Daddy!" Timothy cheers, running up to his father.

Calum sets down the phone, standing up and pulling Timothy into a hug. "Hey bud!"

And that's when you knew that your decision was worth it.

Luke:

You had a one night stand a few months ago, waking up just to find the lead singer of Five Seconds of Summer next to you in the hotel bed.

Later, you found his number in your phone and kept it in there.

A few weeks after that you started feeling sick and then took a pregnancy test, finding it positive.

You went to the doctor and he confirmed it so you called Luke, asking to meet him for coffee.

Surprisingly, he accepted and now you're sitting across from the band member in a local coffee shop, the hot chocolate sitting in front of you.

"Are you not thirsty?" The Australian asks, pointing to the hot beverage.

You shake your head, knowing its' really pregnancy nausea. "Um, so I called you here for a reason."

"Okay," Luke nods his head for you to continue.

"I'm pregnant," you blurt out.

A shocked look covers his face and he buries his face in his hands. "Are you sure?"

"Positive," you reply nervously.

He looks up at you with his blue eyes. "Okay. We'll figure this out."

Michael:

Your sixteen year old daughter, Kaleia (kuh-lee-uh), had a YouTube channel that you watched often.

You were watching her latest video which was a Q and A.

"What's it like having divorced parents?" Kaleia reads the question, then stares at the camera. "I mean, it's hard. I don't remember much about them being together so I don't have anything to compare it to. The divorce was seven years ago, but by now I'm used to it."

She takes a deep breath. "But sometimes I do wonder what it's like to have my parents be together. At least Jay and I are in it together." She mentions her fourteen year old brother and then shrugs.

"Oh well."
