I woke up all alone in the tent

Gentle murmurs were heard from outside

My hand reached down to my enlarged stomach, I rubbed it through the thin fabric of one of Tanner's shirts

Good morning babies

I stood up and stretched reaching towards the zipper while pulling on sandals

Suddenly it was quiet

Where did they go?

I stuck my head out only to be blinded, no not by the sun instead by creamy delicious frosting

Growling, I swiped my eyes as the cake fell to the floor, glaring at Trent who stood directly in front of me laughing

"Happy birthday" he shouted in chorus everyone began singing while I sulked silently half of my body still inside the tent

When they finished I still glared at Trent "how am I supposed to get out now?"

His hazel eyes flickered to the cake covered ground in front of the tent door

"Well I would get you but you see, I'm wearing sandals and I would like my feet cake free" he said shrugging as if the answer were obvious

I don't care about his stupid feet

Gabriel rolled his eyes behind him and stepped forward and into the cake, he didnt ask for my permission as his hands locked under my butt and pulled me to him

I sat shocked in his arms, his body concealed my belly, smart. I wrapped my arms around his neck tentatively, am I too heavy? I'm too heavy

"Thank you" I murmured looking straight ahead to hide my morning breath

His arms squeezed my thigh gently, not enough to hurt me but enough to reassure me that he heard

He put me down in front of a empty seat and walked off without a word or glance

When I looked back at the tent Carmen was on her knees cleaning up the mess with napkins

Brianna walked up to me with my towel in hand "get in the shower" she told me handing me my soft blue towel "I'll pick out your clothes"

"But-" I began to protest, she wouldn't expect me to wear something skimpy...would she?

"Don't worry I know what I'm doing" she said offering her hand to help me up

For some reason there seemed to be a hidden message in her words. Nonetheless, I took it and she began to walk away, as I staring longingly at the food table practically dragging my feet to the shower tent

My towel hung around my shoulder catching droplets of my wet hair, my pajamas were put back on as I exited the small tent

A biscuit was stuffed into my hand and Brianna led me into the tent

"Put these on" she said stuffing the clothes into my other hand and left the tent

I finished the biscuit and threw the jewlery on top of my sleeping bag

The dress was minty teal colored both short and fitted with a sheer overlay and a sweetheart bodice, the sheer would be good at hiding the babies

Next were teal sandals, stud earring and the bracelet my mom gave me

My heart ached at the sight of the jewelry, I don't know how it ended up in my bags, without a second though I slipped it on my wrist and left the tent

The only people outside were Brianna who was waiting for me, Gigi who was playing a solo game of chess, Thalia who always seemed to be cooking and Justin who talked to her from the other side of the grill. What I didn't expect to see of course was Carmen...reading a book

I tried to read the title but Brianna set me in front of her "Gigi" brianna called "do her hair please"

Gigi got up happily and slipped over to me

Brianna placed my hand on a table then began to expertly do my nails after that she pulled out a tube of liquid eyeliner and began doing whatever she was doing, Gigi's fingers gently combed over my hair styling it

"Where are the others?" I asked her

She stepped back to examine her work on my first eye then stepped forward again and said "it's gonna be cold tonight, we don't wanna freeze to damn death so they went to get firewood"

I nodded then realized my mistake a loud shriek escaped her perfectly painted lips "I'm sorry" I whispered

Gigi finished then sat down and observed as Brianna cleaned up my mistake

When she finished with my eyes she moved on to adding lipgloss

"Done" she said staring at me with smoldering eyes "since we don't have a damn mirror" she said reaching into her pocket and pulling out her phone "this is good enough"

She handed me the phone with the front camera on

No I didn't gasp at my transformation but I was highly impressed, the cat eye design she did with the eyeliner came out better than any of mine ever have, my lips were covered in a pink almost nude like lip stick and my hair was braided from the side of my head falling down to my shoulders and beyond and ending at my breast

"Thank you" I said hugging her, she hugged me tightly back and said "you're welcome, oh wait one last thing" she quickly let go and yelled "perfume" I declined her offer and she took it without a fight (surprisingly)

"Stupid nasty freaking bugs" Carmen muttered her arm then shuddering "gross" she shrieked grabbing a napkin and cleaning her arm then continued to lose herself in the book

I took another biscuit and plopped down next to Gigi

"You look beautiful" she said

"Thank you" but I feel like a whale I added in my head

"Tiffany right?" She said readjusting her choker that connected with several necklaces

"Yea" I said leaning my elbows above my knee and resting my head on them "how'd you know?"

"Well" she said cocking her head to the side, her blonde hair moving with her "we sung happy birthday, the cake had your name on it, and Gabriel"

A rush of feelings sprouted. Gabriel?

"Gabriel talks about me?" I asked astonished

"Oh yea, alot too" Gigi said nodding feverishly

My face changed to horror imagining all the things he could have said to her "only normal things" she reassured quickly, taking in my expression

I hummed straightening my back "like what?" I asked curiously

Gigi bit her lip and faced the forest where the crowd emerged, some holding pieces of wood

The first thing I noticed was Jaime talking animatedly to Gabriel while her stared ahead, at me?

A small smile slipped onto his face and momentarily I was mesmerized was he smiling at me?

Gigi smiled at him and waved

Of course not

She helped me up without me asking and for that I was thankful, I don't want to hurt the baby if that's possible

Gabriel eyes landed on and he tensed mid-step, I offered him a small smile and he stared at me intently his eyes dropping to my stomach then whipped around walking in the other direction

A pinching feeling rose in my heart, does he hate me that much?

Gigi shot me an apologetic glance and ran after him

I pushed the feeling to the back of my mind but it stayed like an anchor attached to my chest

"Why did everyone go?" I asked Trent and he threw the wood on the floor

"Because young sister, the more the merrier" he said flicking my forehead as he went
