There were several obnoxious honks outside, each resonating throughout the small house

Everyone tensed, waiting for a cry or two, when nothing came I relaxed and walked to the door "I will kill him" I muttered

I opened the door and a warm breeze flew in, a sigh escaped my lips as the sunlight made me feel warm inside

With all the time spent in the house I've forgotten what the sun feels like

"Your going dressed like that?" Trent walked out of his car and leaned against it "It's a music festival not a slumber party"

I rolled my eyes and walked two steps out into the warm air "I'm not going" I pushed out, the words bringing physical and mental distress

Trent pushed himself off the car and stood shocked "what? why?"

I shifted on my feet and took a deep breath, breathing in fresh air from outside "I can't find a babysitter, everyone is going to the music festival"

He dramatically threw his hands in the air and made a full circle "exactly why you should go! Take the babies with you, I'll help take care of them" he offered

I shook my head and crossed my arms "they're barely a month old, too much germs and the music would be too loud" the door opened behind me "I'm a mother now, certain sacrifices need to be made"

Trent did an overdramatic sigh then stepped into his car "well, I'll take lots of pictures for you"

Caleb, Tanner and Gabriel all stepped through the door

"I'm sure you'll have lots of fun babysitting" Caleb said

"See you later sis" Tanner

"Don't drink my Mountain Dew" and of course Gabriel

I rolled my eyes and stepped inside locking the door behind me

What to do now?

The house seemed so quiet and peaceful, with the guys gone and babies asleep

I fell against the couch and rubbed my temples , my eyes tearing involuntarily

Ever since the babies were born my life has been nothing but taking care of them, the last time I stepped out the house I was carrying them both inside my belly but, I already knew the consequences

The music festival happened each year, this would be my last with Trent before he went off to his university

I took a deep breath and stood up, It's not that big of a deal I told myself, get over it

There's not much to do. I go around the house cleaning a bit, picking up clothes from the floor, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping

It all but takes me a surprising twenty minutes, credits to having a small house

After that I change into a sports bra and yoga pants I haven't touched, the price tag still on it. Somehow aunt Jenna knew I would be needing these

Then I stood in the middle of my room awkwardly, not knowing what to do

Do I start with pushups?

Two minutes later a working out app was installed into my phone and it proved me wrong, it isn't pushups first, it's stretching

As I attempt to reach for my toes I heard the backyard door rattle and immediately jolted up, checking to see if the sound would come again. When it did, on reflex my hands grabbed the closest thing, the coffee table centerpiece, a glass vase with pebbles inside
