Alex POV
"Zach Lockwood? " Alew raised a questioning brow at Matthew.
"Yes. I want to know about him." Matthew answered, his face as unreadable as a brick wall.
"Mat- you and I both know that he is not real." Alex answered humourously.
"Ah I do know that for a fact... but you see the problem is... t-this nonexistent man has stolen two million dollars from me. Now tell me how that is possible?"
"T-two million dollars!" Alex raised his voice, unable to believe what Mat was saying. Did he even hear him correctly?
"Yes, two million dollars." Matthew confirmed.
"Mat do you even understand how crazy this sounds?"
"Yes I do, that is why I came to you. We both know who would use this alias."
"Cat?" Alex asked unsure where this was heading.
"Yes my thoughts exactly. We need to find her."
"Are you sure? You know that finding her would stir some unwanted history..."
Alex knew he was right. The last time they saw her was not the best of memories and he refused to go through that again. Mat stopped him then from giving her his piece of mind but if anything happened like that again, not even Hades himself could stop the hell he was about to drop on her.
"Yes I know that for a fact. But I just want to get my money back."
"But Mat you make ten times that amount before you wake up in the morning, why not let this go?" Alex asked curiously.
"I would if I could, but knowing Cat... I know it's impossible for her to do this alone. We both know she is incapable. I have a feeling that I am being deceived by someone in my company....hence I need to find the root and destroy it before it spreads and becomes stronger. "
Alex nodded. He knew that finding the culprit would be much strain on Mat but looking at his friend's determined face he knew that his friend was better of with him by his side. At least he would be able to take care of him without his friend's knowledge.
"So where would you like to start?"

Alex POV
Matthew stared out at the busy city through his hotel's room window. His steely blue eyes gazed fixedly on nothing in particular. In fact the busy city was only a blur in his vision and its sound was only a soft and weak disturbance.
Judging by his wall like stance, Alex knew he was in some sort of a trance...meditation if you must.
He could almost see the little sparks and a small line of smoke coming out from Matthew's ears. His friend's mind was a well fueled motor, contemplating and deliberating what they were yet to do.
A frown found it's way onto Alex's face.
How long is he going to stand there?
Looking at his wristwatch he saw that Matthew had been speechlessly standing there for the past half an hour. And for a person like Alex who was accustomed to noise, this was simply hell!
Alex sighed loudly, passing his hands over his tired face. Four hours had passed trying to find any trail to pinpoint Cat's location but finding her was as useless as finding a needle in a haystack. Pointless and quite frankly a waste of time. They needed to try targeting her from another direction.
"Maybe you should call your office back in New York and find out if they found out anything new?" Alex spoke, voicing his thoughts.
Matthew turned to him, his eyes glassy as if they were a defrosting ice burge.
"I suppose we could try that." Matthew responded, dryly. Alex knew Matthew did not think they had anything new to inform them but it was worth a try.
Alex looked on as Matthew dialed a number on his phone and pressed it to his ear.
"Yes. Were you able to locate Zach Lockwood?" Matthew asked. He paused and hummed now and again before finally hanging up. He looked towards Alex and shook his head while placing his phone back in his pockets.
"The trail has ran cold. They were able to find out the name of the bank in which the money was drawn but other than that...."
"It's useless." Alex finished Matthew's sentence.
"Yes." Matthew respond. They both sighed drowning in their own thoughts once again....
"Wait! What bank was it?" Alex's voice rang through the silence.
"What?" Matthew asked confused. What use would knowing the bank's name do them?
"The bank's name Mat, what is it!?"
"I-it's Emirates Bank International..." Matthew answered skeptically.
"I know how we could light her trail to fire again!" Alex spoke enthusiastically, hopping of the bed as his hands speedily moved over the touch pad on his mobile.
"What. How?" Matthew turned his full attention to Alex. His confusion only growing by the seconds.
"Wait and watch my friend...." Alex beemed..

Hi guys! How are you all?
First of I would like to say I am not from London hence the name of the hotel and the bank is information I researched. I don't know how correct it is so please use your imaginations....
Also a new character by the name 'Cat' was introduced. Who do you think she is? And why do you think she would steal from Mathew?
Hints are in the song! ( wink wink!)
