31. All is Well

Zayn's POV

It's been almost a whole month since the beginning of the tour and so far everything's been absolutely incredible. All us lads have so much fun on stage, singing the songs, and goofing off with each other. I guess it's always fun when you have your best mates as a band and on tour. We always go absolutely crazy, and I'm sure all the crew members are probably so done with us already since we always mess with them.

Liam and I are wonderful as well. We have fun together on and off stage, we just have to remember the super intimacy rule in front of the public, which is really hard for us to do. It's not exactly hard to do, per say, it's just difficult because we don't get to do it very often. The only time we're ever really alone is on the the bus, but we're obviously not going to the do anything on the bus with the other lads. Also when we're in hotel rooms, but when we are, we both are usually tired because we crash at hotels late in the night so we never really get to be together.

"Hey babe," Liam said as he wrapped an arms around my shoulder.

"Hey."

"You ready? We're about to leave."

"Yeah I'm ready. Did you get your phone. I want some good pictures," I said.

Liam chuckled, "Don't worry. You'll get your pictures. Anywhere you want to take them, I'll take them for you."

"If you take them, then who's going to be in the pictures with me?" I asked.

"Fine, I'll be the in pictures too."

Today was our free day so we were going to go out with the other lads and do some shopping see the wonders of the UK. Liam and I love to travel. Well, we haven't much, but we love to and today is the day to start. We love seeing different places and the beauty of it all.

Our first place we went was just the wilderness. We went hiking and I realized that hiking is not my thing. But Liam helped me keep going and we found this beautiful pond with a picnic area. It was a good thing Liam suggested to bring food along, because that's exactly what we did afterward: have a little picnic by the pond.

It was a bit chilly, but not too bad. It felt nice since we were hiking for a while and I was almost about dead, but Liam encourage me to keep going for a little bit and then we could rest. And thank goodness that little bit brought us to this pond because it was quiet, isolated, and just us two. Harry, Niall, and Louis went to the city to do some shopping. I was planning on going with them, but Liam really wanted to do some workout in nature and we haven't gotten to spend much time together so I decided to go with him, because I didn't think I'd have to do actual working out, but I was wrong.

"This is a nice place," I said.

"Yeah it is," Liam smiled and ate a chip.

"I still did not like whole hike thing."

"Come one babe, you know it was refreshing for you body. You'll thank me later," he kissed my cheek.

"I doubt it."

"Are you liking it so far Zayn?" Liam asked as he handed me the bag of chips.

"No, I just said I didn't like hiking Liam."

"No, I mean the concerts and the tour silly," he smiled.

"Oh. Yeah it's fun. The best part is I get to sing with you and see you all the time," I said.

"I know," he chuckled.

Soon after that, Liam and I went back to the hotel where I called dibs on the shower first because I felt nasty, even though Liam was sweating more than I was.
