8. Never Let You Go

"So how come you never told me about it?" Liam asked. 

"Well I didn't know myself, until I took him here and had him audition. You've heard him. He's got an incredible voice, so I thought him being part of the band would be good for us and him," I said. 

"I know. I just wished you would have told me Zayn." 

"I know. I'm sorry, ok?" I said looking into his eyes

"Yeah," he nodded and looked around to see if Louis and Niall had gotten here yet. 

"Hey," I said to Liam as he turned his head back towards me and looked into my eyes again. I kissed him softly and slowly pulled away. 

"I love you Liam," I said. 

"I love you too Zayn." 

Liam found out about Harry being in the band about like five minutes ago. He wasn't upset about it, just with me for not telling him. 

Niall and Louis walked in a second later and we got started with our meeting. We were at the record label's building to meet with our producer about our band and all plans for the near future. They told us that they were currently writing songs for us, and if any of us wanted to help write songs we could join the song writers this weekend between eight in the morning to nine at night. 

They also said that after the songs were written by next week, we would start recording for our album and release a single to see how the listeners respond to our music, I guess. After the meeting, we all decided to head to our Cafe and get a drink and bite to eat. 

"Niall, you alright?" Liam asked. 

"Yeah Liam, he's fine," Louis answered. 

"Look I know it's tough on you Ni, but we're here for you. Anything you need, alright?" Liam assured him. 

"Don't suppose you could get me my family back could you?" Niall asked. 

"I'm sorry Ni. Maybe you could try speaking to them again, not now, but like next week or something? Give them time to cool down and next week see how it goes?" 

"Liam, you don't understand. They hate me. They don't even want to see me. They could barely stand looking at me when I told them," he sighed and drank his coffee. 

"Look Ni, don't worry about them. It's their loss. They lost the best thing they had in their life ok?" Louis said kissing his cheek. 

"I have to go," Harry said getting up. 

"We just got here Haz," Liam said. 

"I know, but my dad's at home and I've gotta work some things out. I'll see you guys later, yeah?" 

"Hey, could you give me a ride? I need to go the grocery store," I said getting up as well. 

"Um Zayn, I'm kind of in a rush," he said. 

"It's on the way to your house," I said. 

"Hey babe, I could give you a ride if you need," Liam said. 

"I think the store closes at like 7, and it's 6:45 right now," I said. 

"Fine, c'mon," Harry said going to the car. 

"I'll see you tomorrow then?" I said to Liam as he nodded. 

I kissed his cheek than quickly followed Harry to his car. We both got in and he drove out of the parking lot and towards his house. 

"So you've been basically ignoring me all day today..." I said looking at him. 

"Sorry," he said and kept driving.
