Zayn

I was stood on the door steps hesitating to knock. All the packed boxes and all were still in my car, but I didn't want to bring those in first hand. I don't even know if I should be doing thing. Hell, Liam will probably get mad, but I need to do this. I took in a deep inhale and slowly exhaled it out trying to clam my heart rate down. Once I had relaxed a little, I brought my curled up fists to the door and knocked three times.

"Zayn! Hi! Oh my gosh, I haven't seen you in ages," Liam's mum said as she opened the door.

She made way from the door indicating me to come inside, and I did so then gave her a tight hug. She led me inside the house and she sat me down on the couch and sat down next to me.

"It's wonderful seeing you again Karen. I've really missed you," I smiled.

"Same goes for you. I told Liam to bring you over for Christmas and all, but he told me plans go changed, huh?"

"Yeah. I really wanted to come, but plans did change."

"So what brings you here?" she asked.

"I actually, um...I have some things of umm...L-Liam," I muttered.

"Well he's not here honey," she said softly and apologetically.

"No, I know. I um...couldn't really you know give it to him in person, since we're not seeing each other anymore. Ummm, so I though I'd drop it off here and let you give it to him whenever he comes or something," I spoke slowly.

"Of course honey. Is it in you car? Do you need help getting the stuff?" She asked.

"Yeah, it's in my car. I'll go get it. It's okay. I'll be right back," I said as I got up and headed back out to my car.

I had a couple things in my car actually. I grabbed the first boxed and went back inside, setting it down by the door step for now. Then made two more trips to get the other two boxes. Karen was waiting and watching by the door.

"That's quite a lot of stuff Liam's got, huh? He never knows when to stop buying things," Karen shook her head smiling.

"It's not that much actually. He's got most of his stuff with him right now. This is just what was left when I was cleaning out of our, I mean, my flat," I said shutting the door so cold air wouldn't get in.

"Do you want some tea Zayn? I can make some for you. Or anything to eat? We've got plenty," she asked.

"No thank you. I'm fine. Do you want me to put these somewhere though," I pointed to the boxes.

"Just leave them in Liam's room please," she said.

I nodded and one by one took each box to Liam's room, placing them on his bed. I stayed in his room observing it and looking around reminiscing about all the memories here. On the bedside was a picture of me and Liam. It was the first picture of Liam and me taken by Louis when we were hanging out at Liam's place. I sighed taking one last took at the room and the picture before heading back down.

"I think I'm going to head out now. I just wanted to drop his things off," I pursed my lips together.

"Zayn come sit for a minute," she suggested.

"I really should go," I said.

"Just for a minute hon," she smiled.

I caved in and went and sat down next to her, "Yeah?"

"You and Liam may not be together anymore, and they are for reasons I don't know, because," she sighed, "Liam just doesn't talk me to about you anymore. But I know that he loves you."

"He doesn't," I mumbled, "I mean, he's got a new boyfriend and he's moved on. They're both blowing up my social media with picture and videos of them dancing and just being what we used to be."

"You need to tell him that you love him," he soothed.

"I did," I sighed trying to calm myself down, "On his birthday, I went over to see him and I told him that  love him. He told me he couldn't be with me because of our relationship turned out and because of who he's become. That he's trying to figure himself out. Also, because he has a boyfriend he much happier with. I told him to stay anyway, and he said he couldn't. I need to move on and so that's what I'm trying to do. Giving away his stuff is the first step on my list."

"I'm sorry things have turned out like this, but I have no doubt that you and Liam will work things out. You two love each other more I can know," she smile and rubbed my back.

"Oh, can you also give him this for me," I took off my necklace and handed it to Karen.

"Of course," she nodded taking it.

"Well I should go," I said getting up and heading to the door.

She walked me to the door and we said our goodbyes before I headed by to the car. I laid my head back and closed my eyes in distress, trying to calm myself down as I was realizing the reality. I sighed, rubbing my eyes before turning on the engine to the car, pressing on the accelerator, and driving down the road of the sunset.

A/N: Short chapter, but hey! I'm updating three times today. Also I wasn't planning on writing this, but since the last chapter was a bit too much Jordan and Liam and no Zayn, I thought I'd give you guys a chapter with Zayn. :)
