Chapter 1: Opposite

Bea's POV.

"Daddy look, I got medal." Sabi ni Ate Bella kay daddy na sya namang ikinakislap ng mga mata niya.

Napabaling din ang tingin ni mommy sa kanilang dalawa, habang ako patuloy na naglakad nalang.

"Wow! I'm so proud of you anak, so what is this now that you've got?" Bibo pang tanong ni Papa sakanya, I was about to go inside my room when Dad called me.

"How about you Bea? How do you do at school today?" Ngiting tanong sa akin ni Mommy, but before I could say a thing sumagot na si Dad.

"Amanda we all now that in this house Bella is great so stop asking Bea, sa katunayan nga nakatanggap kapa ng tawag sa advicer nya kanina diba?" Sarcastic na sagot ni Dad kay Mom, pareho naman kaming nagkatinginan ni Mama kaya nagkiss nalang ako kay Mom at umakyat na sa kwarto ko.

Well, maybe your wondering bakit ganun ang trato sa akin ni Dad. Sadly because Ate Bella is smart and very lovable and she's the opposite of me.

I'm a Brat, hindi naman ako bobo school is just not my thing sakto lang akong pumapasa.

While ang Bida nyo naman pa-petiks-petiks lang, gayun pa man nagpapasalamat ako na may Mommy pa ako dahil siya lang naman ang nakaka-intindi sa akin.

Ever since sya lang ang nagmamahal at nag-aalala para sa akin, si Dad naman walang ibang nakita kundi si Ate Bella.

"Pasok." Sana sa pagbuka ng pintong yan si Dad ang lumitaw at magsosory sya. (Cross fingers)

"Anak, dinalhan kita ng meryenda." Si Mom pala, pero okay narin to atleast I have her. Nilapag ni Mom yung dala nyang tray sa may side table ng bed ko, then she sit beside me.

Hinaplos nya ang mga kamay ko and she put her hands onto my head for me to lean on her shoulders. This is what I want right now a perfect stress releaver.

"I love you Mom, you've been always there for me no matter what.Thanks for not being like Dad." Atsaka ko sya kiniss sa chicks then she let me face her.

"Don't be like that Beatrice, she's your Dad and I know he love's you." Sabi ni Mom para lang siguro pagaanin ang fellings ko.

"Not as much as he loves Ate, I wish I could be just smart and good as she do." The after that Mom huged me and said, "But you are darling, well, it's not like Ate does her way but you are different from her and you are as good as her and smart as she do."

Napakunot naman ang kilay ko sa sanabi ni Mama. "Huh?" Takang sagot ko sakanya.

"You're advicer called me earlier and she said that you've been caught punching one of your classmate, first I was mad but when she said what was the reason. I said to myself I've raised you good enough and Im so proud of you." Then tears fall from her eyes, all I can do is watch my Mom and hug her that's the least I can do for her.

I was about to utter some words when her phone rung and give me a kiss then she whispered "later Bea, I love you". I was left there in my room and felt great again Mom maid my day complete.

Siguro nagtataka kayo kung ano yun, kasi nahuli ko yung classmate ko na binobosahan yung isa naming subject teacher.

There was no one who believed me in the faculty, only the subject teacher and my mom. The parents of the student even told to our principle to get me expell but that's imposible.

Kilala kasi akong laging nagdiditch ng class kaya ayaw nilang maniwal baka daw kasi palusot ko lang yun para makalimutan nila na nung araw na yun ay nagditch ako.

Hmf. Hindi naman kasi ako ganun kasamang tao may puso at konsensya parin naman ako.

Ang hindi ko lang maintindihan eh kung bakit hindi ma-apriciate ni Dad ang mga 'to, ayy. Asa pa ako!

But somewhere in my heart I do believe that Dad would find some space for me, hindi ako susuko na makuha ang loob ni Dad this time I will persue.
