Chapter 12-- A Surprise for Mama

After getting off the plane I thought about my little nephew. I miss that little brat so much. I decided to see him and my sister-in-law.

There's a public holiday I know they'll be home. They have no idea I'll be in New York. Liana is also coming, but her flight might be a little late. 

I got to their house and their butler let me inside the house. I Ian's nanny told me where he was. In his little living room. Yes, Ian has is own living room. I didn't call him a brat for nothing. I got to his living room and saw him clicking the remote so many times. 

"Hey, little man" I said to get his attention. He looked back and his face lightens up like he saw a Christmas tree. He came running towards me.

"Uncle Logan! Uncle Logan! Uncle Logan!" He cheered embracing me. "Hey buddy missed me?" I asked messing up his hair.

"Yes I did, but then I saw you on the Tv yesterday and the day before." He said cheerfully. "Oh really, you were watching Tv with mom?" I asked surprised because they usually don't show that kind of commercials on a cartoon network. 

"No, I was watching tv with dad" He said. "Oh, that's cool. What was I doing?" I asked 

"You were smiling with a girl and then running after her and playing with her hair. You know the normal cliche perfume commercial. Dad said you were flirting with her" He said giggling. I laughed.

"Really?" I asked and he nodded continuously. "Yeah. I wanna be like you when I grow up." He said to my surprise.

"Oh oh don't let your dad hear that." I mumbled to myself.  "Don't you wanna be like your dad" I asked. "Of course I wanna be like my dad and I also wanna be like you. I can do it all." He said seriously. I smiled. "Ah, why didn't I think about that. Of course you can." I said messing with his hair again. "I know" He said giggling making me laugh. He's so adorable.

"Where are your parents?" I asked after sitting on the couch with him. "Dad is in his office upstairs and mom went to Chicago the day before yesterday." He said a little sad.

Oh yeah, I almost forget Jane took over her dad's company. "You miss your mom?" I asked. "Yeah I do, but I understand she trying to work hard to help grandpa." He said and I smiled. Ian might be a little but he understands a lot and he's smart just like his mom.

A thought came into my mind.

"You wanna surprise your mom?" I asked smiling. Ian turned to me and gave me a mischievous smile similar to mine. We both stood up and ran as fast as we could to Liam's office.

We barge into his office and Liam turned towards us. He was surprised to see me. He was looking at us like we are some bunch of hoodlums.

"Logan? What are you doing? When did you get here?" He asked. "Like few minutes ago, I missed you guys." I answered.

"So why did you two run inside my office like a bunch of hoodlums?" He asked not even showing if he's happy to see me or not. Just like I was expecting. I mean he's Liam, and I think he's cranky because Jane is not home.

"Ian wants to see his mom and I have a good idea, you know, like a way to surprise her. I know you miss your wife." I said mischievously. He groaned.

"Oh god, what lame idea do you have again. I'm busy working" He said and went back to typing again. 

I saw Ian looking down sadly. I took his hand. "Come on let's go back to your living room" I said and winked at him. He smiled, following me.

I decided to text Liana and tell her about my plan. I know she would love it because she hasn't since Ian and Jane in a long time. I know how much she loves them. I took out my phone and texted her.
