Liam's P.O.V

Just right after we came back from our vacation we got a disturbing news from Julie saying the man who stabbed Louis to death was discovered dead in his cell after spending 17 years in prison, but the disturbing thing is that they found a confession letter in his prison cell claiming he was actually hired to kill Louis and his sisters. He said he was hired by Jane's step mother. He said he has proof of their conversation somewhere, but the detective didn't disclose the location.

I'm just relieved I was with Jane when Julie called. Jane has been quiet since she found out. If I wasn't there to receive the call with her I wouldn't know what's wrong. I've been so concerned about her, because she's just not responding since yesterday. She's doing everything but talking. She wasn't even able to sleep.

I called my mom and told her about what happened in case I need her to watch the kids.

My mom told me to make sure I watch her every move since she's not exactly herself at the moment, and I've been doing that.

She walked out of the room and I followed her till she got to the kitchen. She grab a glass and poured herself some water. Ian walked into the kitchen wearing the costume his mom made for him for his school play that is coming up.

Jane saw him playing with the buttons on the costume.

"I thought I told you you're not wearing that costume until the day of." She said when he was about to hide. "But mom..." Ian tried to protest. "Take that off now and put it back in your closet, don't ruin it before the play." She said clearly frustrated.

"He's just trying it on. He's__" I said walking out of the kitchen. "I said NO! WHY WILL HE DO THAT!" She yelled unknowingly.

"Jane calm down?" I said really worried.

"Ian go to your room" I said to Ian and he ran to his room. He's probably scared.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. He was just a little boy. He was only nine. How could she do that to a child. How could anyone__ How__ How could she__" She she suddenly forgot how to breathe.

"Okay babe, I need you to breathe." Liam said concerned.

"My chest I'm feeling__" She said as she was going down on the floor. I ran to her picking her up from the floor.

"Jane! Jane! Can you hear me?" I called but she didn't wake up.

I called the doctor immediately and he told me what to do while he was on his way.

She woke up before the doctor walked in, but he made sure she was alright before he left.

"Hey babe, I need you to relax like the doctor said. I'm gonna talk to Julie and the investigators. Just leave it to me to handle the rest." I said sitting her down on our bed. "Babe, can you hear me?" I asked when I didn't hear her reply.

She finally spoke. "Um, can you do me a favor? I would really like to be alone for now. I wanna be left alone, please." She said taking me by surprise, at the same time I could understand her. I stood up and walked out closing the bedroom door behind me. I lean on the door just to hear her burst into tears, and I could feel my heart breaking.

"He was nine! Why... why... how? How could she do that to him? How could she be so cruel to little kid? How can you even? A little kid! Why not me? He was so young. It should have been me instead. He was so bright__ oh God!" She cried. I couldn't help but cry with her. I can't imagine someone doing that to Ian. I wiped my tears with my hand and decided to look for Ian.

It hurts really bad when someone so young dies, you can't help but imagine what it would be like for them to be alive, and explore their dreams and hopes. No matter how long it has been, it coming up again like this, and just finding the truth about his death, how unfair it is, is like going back to the moment.
