I couldn't believe the plan that had formed itself into her mind. It was crazy, reckless, and almost suicidal. About half way through her numerous questions of our enemy's colleague, I had known what she'd had been thinking. As soon as I put the pieces together, i'd tried to talk her out of it. But it was no use.

She'd had an advantage as well. The warmth of her hand had been very distracting to me. I hadn't put up my best argument. So now she stood in front of my brother, pitching the same idea to them, and they looked anything but thrilled.

"You really want us to contact Kellerinn just so you can see what he looks like?" Leo said incredulously as he crossed his arms over his plastron and narrowed his eyes. "That kind of seems like a far fetched reason to find someone who used to work for Shredder."

Jazmin flipped her dark hair behind her shoulder, bringing that Jasmine scent to my senses again. It wasn't a very good idea to be standing so close to her but I couldn't make myself move away.

"It's not like that. Earth 6 is doppelgänger to your Earth 1. The only person I can think of that could help us is my father. But he isn't here. So maybe if I found his Earth 1 twin he could help us in the same way Z would. The only difference in doppelgänger is the name and life development. Skill level and knowledge are the same. But history is different."

"What do you mean by different history?" I asked.

She turned her electric green gaze on me. "The events that happened to get us where we are in the present played out differently than on this Earth. For example, here on Earth 1 Hitler and his Nazis did not win World War 2. On my Earth, Bickler was the leader of the Nazis and they did win the War."

"Whoa..." Mikey breathed. "Can you imagine what it would've been like if that had happened here?"

I shook my head. All hell would've definitely broken loose.

"Doppelgänger is a reality?" Donnie asked, his face lighting up. "I thought it was just something sombody came up with, no truth to it."

"Yeah. It's real." Jazmin crossed her arms and cocked a hip, her gaze settling on Leo. "Your brother told me that Kellerinn was the only member of your rival's clan that you all could actually be civil with. That's a start. If he really is Zeppelinn's twin, he'll know exactly who I am as soon as he sees me. Being a weapon master of one of Tesh's allies, he has full knowledge of my existence."

"You drive a hard bargain." Leo began to pace, hesitant on whether or not we should open up the door to the past again. It had already brought us so much pain.

Something caused Jazmin to lose her current attitude and replace the irritated look on her face with a look of sympathy. That's when I realized she was very quick to catch on. She'd gotten that we'd experienced a loss.

"I know this is a lot to ask of you all but I wouldn't bring this idea to your attention without a good reason. I know what it feels like to lose someone you love and, even though no one has told me, I can tell you have lost someone as well. If you don't want to help me I understand. I will find him myself because if Tesh gets his way, losing loved ones will be something all the Earths will experience."

My brother's and I couldn't look away after she'd spoken. Neither of us had told her about Splinter's death, she'd just known. It baffled me that she was that observant. She'd probably detected some of my sadness when i'd shown her to his room last night, but that'd been it. And Leo had mentioned that we join her in fighting against Tesh for our Sensei. But nothing was ever said that we'd lost someone. I felt a connection with her on another level.
