The conversation was incredibly blank. I wished with every ounce of me that he would just get straight to the point. I didn't understand the technical details. All I cared about was the power that came from it. That's all my being craved, unlimited power. Unfortunately, I needed the science to accomplish this. So I listened to what he had to say with an empty conscience. Until it got to be too much that I turned away and absorbed myself in the scene before me.

Many thoughts went through my mind as I looked out over the desolation. The darkness and poverty served as a suitable landscape to sit and stare at when I was in need of deep thought. How there was no light, just a thick layer of soot hanging over the dry and baren land, was almost like a therapy to me. It was beautiful. Dwelling on it and my accomplishments helped to calm me. And I would need all the calming I could get.

It was about to happen. The great revival. I could feel it in my bones. She had found me out. I just knew it. She knew that I had come up with a way to communicate with my Earth counterparts. Which only meant one thing.

She was coming for me.

But her efforts would, yet again, be in vain. I had an army now. Much bigger than just my followers. The entirety of Earth 6 was now completely underneath me. With the nonexistence of Jazmin Turner, they did not possess any will to fight against me. So they had submitted to my command.

She hadn't noticed but the citizens of my Earth, after hearing about her crimes against me, rose up in a revolting manner. I did not just have one rebellious soul, I had many. She was an example and they had followed, seeing her as their leader. But she'd been too stupid to grasp that. All she'd cared about was pleasing her pathetic excuse for a father. And that had gotten her exactly where I'd said it would... Nowhere.

I'd tried very hard to convince her to work for me. A beautiful girl as herself would be able to assist me in more ways than just her fighting abilities. Not only could she please me with her submissiveness, but also her complete obedience. But that had failed as well.

I clenched my hands into fists at my sides. She would try to reawaken the Rebels here. But she would fail. One girl could not do a thing to make me kneel, not when her whole planet was on my side. But we would still have to fight.

"Your Majesty..."

My thoughts were brought back to the situation at hand. I turned away from my kingdom, back to the conversation.

"Professor?"

"Another portal is ready for transportation, My Lord."

"Good."

"I will set the destination if you wish me to."

"Yes. Earth 2. I want to personally meet with the planet's leader, Malena, and thank her for her generous gift of mutagen. It is because of her that the portal was able to be fixed."

The Professor bowed before me. "If I may, My Lord, I wanted to ask when you would send reinforcements to Earth 7 to retrieve my daughter."

Anger passed through me at the mention of her. "In time. The main concern right now is to pay a visit to all my friends."

"Of course. It has just been so long."

Yes, long it had been. Four years to be exact. Four years since I'd seen that dreadful girl. I never wished to see her again. Except to see her cold and lifeless.

"You will wait as long as you must. In case you'd forgotten, Professor, it was you who rebelled against me first. Then your daughter followed. Your obedience will bring her back to you but it is not a priority of mine."

The Professor bowed again before turning to leave. "Yes, My Lord. I understand that my actions had consequences."

"I'm glad you do."

He left me with my thoughts then and I turned back to look out over what was mine. The huge window in my office had been put in at my discretion. It relaxed me to stare at what I'd done. And right now, just like any other time, it did me good.

The Professor would see Jazmin again. But not in the way he thought. I'd promised him his daughter when I'd spared his life... If he would rebuild portals for me, the perfect leverage. He accepted my offer and had been working on them ever since. And now it was finally ready for me to travel through.

But the end result of my absolute rule would turn out differently than the Professor thought. Jazmin was smart and I could feel that she was quickly becoming aware of my plan. I knew this was because of the connection we'd had years ago. She would be here soon with whatever recruits she had. But it all wouldn't end the way she thought.

I was out to extinguish her existence. Forever.

My ultimate goal had always been to wipe her out. A few complications had come up but I was ready now. She would die for real this time.

And I would be the one to do it.

I would drive a blade so deep into her heart that it would drown out all the life she possessed. And then I would twist it in even deeper, drawing out the pain and seeing that look of fear in her eyes. The look that i'd never seen in her eyes. The look that needed to be seen in her eyes.

Then she would be dead for real and my reign would have no further threats. No more would the Rebels seek another as their leader. With the death of Jazmin Turner would come the extinction of their name.

"Let us get going then, Professor." I turned back to him, determinations showing through my gaze. "We have no time to waist." My dark skinned hand skimmed over the front of my priceless suit, folding the collar.

The Professor locked gazes with me, total submission evident. It was the exact look I strived for in all of my followers. One day soon, Jazmin would look at me the same way. Then I would deal her the rightful fate.

"As you wish, My Lord."

So did you appreciate the switch up in POV's?! I've been planning this chapter for awhile and I'm so glad I was finally able to publish it! So many things were made clear in this update and I hope you're as thrown off as I meant to make you... THAT WAS THE PLAN!!! *evil laugh*

I also wanted to build up the hatred against Tesh. This character is probably one of my favorites! Not because of his personality but because of his ruthlessness. I appreciate it when a character is a satisfying villain!

Well, hope y'all enjoy this random turn of events!!
