Tuesday. It was Tuesday today, which meant it was my first day of work at Gregor's shop. I was both too nervous and excited to sleep so I had bags under my eyes, but I didn't care. I was going to work. I was on my way to the shop, with Bradley. Luckily, that was my mum who found us in each other's arms on Sunday. I would have been so embarrassed if it would have been my dad or his parents. If Anne or Derek had found us like that, I would have hidden in a hole for the rest of my life, seriously. When I told him I had the job, he said he would walk with me from school to the shop, so I'd be less nervous. And it was working. We were walking for a while now, hand in hand, just talking about the song they finally finished. I was really proud of him, for someone that young, it wasn't easy to write songs, especially when you know that their label excepted a lot from them. I was just staring at him when he stopped. "Nervous ?" I turned my head and saw the shop in front of us. I squeezed his hand and nodded. "Come here." He pulled me into a hug and rubbed my back. "I'm sure it's going to be fine." He moved away and smiled at me. "Go."

"See you tomorrow ?" He nodded and let go my hand. I took a deep breath and opened the shop's door. I looked back at him and he was waiting for me to enter before leaving. He was so carrying with me, I was really lucky. I smiled at him and walked in. "Hello Gregor !" I chirped at him.

"It's about time." He mumbled. Ouch, what a great way to start work. He threw me what I assumed was a t-shirt. It was, indeed. A black t-shirt with the name of the shop on it, 'Gregor's music', written in red. "Put this on and I'll explain you how everything works." I nodded and took my coat off, putting the t-shirt on, over mine, which was a long white sleeves. He then showed me how the cash register worked and how the vinyls and CD's were arranged in the shop. It was quite simple, actually. "I'm going outside for a while, don't do anything stupid."

"What ? But you can't leave me here alone, I mean, I've just started, what if I don't know how to use to cash register or-"

"You wanted to work here, manage things on your own." He muttered and walked out. It had to be a joke, there was a hidden camera somewhere. No way he'd just let me on my own, right ? I was freaking out and when fifteen minutes passed, I knew he was serious. I heard the bell rang and the first thing I thought was 'shit' and I then saw who entered. He turned his head around and his eyes widened when he saw me.

"Clary ?" He was really confused. He was wearing a white t-shirt under a denim jacket and black jeans.

"In person." I smiled at him. "Hey Zack. How are you doing ?"

"I-I'm great, thanks, I..." He blinked a several time. "Are you working here ? I've never seen you before."

"Oh, yeah, it's my first day of work." I said, grinning, being proud of me. "So do you come often here or ?"

"Yep, I like this place and well, Gregor's my grandfather." It was my turn now to be surprised. He came closer and dropped his bag on the floor, sitting on the stool in front of me.

"This explains that. You know, why you like music and stuff."

"Yes, my passion for music comes mainly from him. So, tell me, why do you need to work ? Don't tell me you've stopped school !" We both laughed.

"No, no of course I haven't ! I just needed some money for myself and Bradley knew Gregor so he asked him if he could hire me."

"Bradley ?" He frowned his eyebrows for a second. "Oh right. Your jealous boyfriend." He giggled and shook his head.

"Yeah, yeah." I didn't like the way he was talking about him, but I didn't say anything. "Sorry about that, it was obviously a misunderstanding, wasn't it ?" He looked at me straight in the eyes.
