Luanna - 140 Years Later

It's been a hundred years now from that day. That day that changed all of our lives forever.

Piper and Alex both died that day. I lost one of my best friends and my brother. Together. Piper remembering it all and happy to spend her last moments of her life with the one person she secretly loved. I felt terrible, yet remembering that they were happy even at the end was the only thing that kept me able to force a slight make-shift smile on my face and to tell people, "I'm fine," when they asked. I knew I was doing it for them. They didn't want me to cry.

And that's all that mattered.

I had cried, a lot. Alright, even Zero would say "A lot" is an understatement. I cried after that day for the next week with the only people to pull me out of my phase were Zero and Myhrr. Crying became old and childish after a while, so I gave it up. I just put up with my regular self because I felt that's what a leader should do and that's what I should do because Alex wouldn't want me to cry for him forever. He'd want me to be happy with Zero.

Many things have happened in those past hundred years. So many. I couldn't even begin. Those with time. I guess I should start somewhere and touch more on each subject as well as let the others.

After that week Zero, Myhrr, and I decided it was best to return to his home and let us finish high school. We planned to tell his parents about everything before leaving the face of the earth. We didn't want to make a big deal of anything if we didn't have to. I still was uncomfortable with everything. Heh, that was one conversation that was not good. Maybe I'll let Zero say that one....

But in the end of finally telling Zero's parents the truth about everything -- the entire truth, I finally won by stating that Zero and I would stop by every once in a while and come to his sister's high school graduation and her wedding, as well as making a yearly visit--if not more to his home for any holiday just to drop by.

In the last years at high school, I had gotten in more fights. Yes, that was true, but people eventually began to leave me alone after someone, I don't know who, (Myhrr) actually convinced the whole damn school that Zero was a prince and I was a princess going to become rulers of some island in the pacific as soon as we graduated from high school. It was true....except for the 'of some island in the pacific' part. We were considered a prince and princess...But I don't really wanna go in depth about that at the moment...

I have also shown my black side a couple, okay maybe more than that, times. It wasn't much, not as bad as before, but Zero pretty much talked me out of it most of the time, thankfully, before I started ripping the heads of anyone.

After high school, Zero proposed to me in such a way that if I said no I would've hurt myself because It made me almost cry. It was too perfect. He really began to know me well and we became a couple from then on, becoming the first marriage in the new family, which we began to call Those with Wings.

But being the first marriage wasn't the only new thing we were first about, there were a lot of others.

Like first to demand not to have a statue/monument made after them until they both are dead, first to enter the secret garden of the kingdom that I may or may not have already snuck into before, first to select a head building, first to demand they don't live in their family's head building. And first to return quickly back to their real job: Helping the people and protecting the kingdom.

But most importantly, the first to have a child.

Now I bet you're thinking, what the hell Luanna and Zero?! But remember, I'm almost 280 years old. It's like being a 28 year old, only...yeah, I'm one with wings.

My first child, which will be the successor of our family along with her other brothers and sisters, is named Tapia, meaning to spread wings. She has hair like mine with Zero's color; a deep dark almost black brown with Hazel eyes. She has light pale angelic skin and the mind of a fighter. She'll make a great leader one day, just like the rest of us.

I won't get much in to her anymore or her two younger sisters and three brothers...but they sure can be nuisances...

Tapia is 125, then her twin brother and sister, Alex and Piper, are 103, after them is her brother, Kage (kah-gay) is 87, then comes Kontroru (Control, his actual name is Konner) who's 71, and lastly Yanara (ya-nah-ra) who is 56. Each one of them has their own story, but I shall wait for saying that.

Maybe one day they'll say their own story...

But back to what happened right after that day...

After that day, all things changed. Whether for the better or worse, I do not know yet. But I guess we should start explaining the talk with Zero's parents...
