Luanna's POV
This house...well, it was bigger than the run-down shack that Alex and I used to live in. But it still was lacking...alot...
First, it was a three bedroom house. And no, I was NOT, I repeat NOT going to have to share the same room with that girl. She was way, I mean way out of wack.
I had no clue where we were, but all I could tell was that it was not a good place. I knew that, because after we got what was not in storage out, and in the house, we couldn't go back out with our wings showing. He was here. He was the guy that beat me when I answered rudely. It was him.
That man wanted us back, for our slavery. Now way was I going back there. And he would beat me untill I was about to die of blood loss.
"Luanna, dear, come and help unload the-"
"NO!" I sharply shouted quickly back, hideing my wings as quick as possible. Alex looked at me, from where he collapsed out of boredom on the floor, and saw the fear in my eyes. He knew who I saw, and quickly folded his wings beneath his clothes.
And yes, those who are woundering, I still was wearing Zero's clothes.
"Are you okay, Luanna, you usually love to help, and the neighbor's are here, they want to meet us!" I don't know how my tone of voice did not tell her that this guy was out to get us.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm comming" Time for my best acting I could do. And since I was always treated like a criminal, this became easy.
I walked to the door, motioning for Alex to come with me, who nodded, and followed. It was him.
"This is my other son, Alex, and my other daughter, Luanna. We don't plan to stay here long, maybe not more that a week." After making our apperance, we were told, along with Zero to check out the house, but I stood right at the other side of the door, listening.
"I am sorry to bother you ma'm, but I have lost my twin son and daughter, they are quite angelic, I guess you could say. They look like this" I took one quick look out the window. It was the picture of Alex and I, that they took a week ago, because every month they take a picture, so they can find us if we run away.
"Are they trouble?" I jumped, almost swearing, because he startled me.
"Ever heard of personal SPACE!!!" I yelled, then turned around to listen to the conversation.
"Hmm maybe...I don't know...could you describe them, personality wise, I might have seen them..." Zero's mother was clueless when it came to this stuff.
"The girl is a" He stopped to think about his word choice. He was gonna call me a snob, self-centered brat, who doesn't care about others besides herself, and has an atitude. "Well, she is Egocentric, sometimes, and losses her temper easily, she's not hard to miss, and he is a nice man, who won't tell you his problems, and is the one who keeps her inline, he's a perfect child"
"Ugh, complainin' about me again, is he? Well why doesn't he just say that he is out to kill me!"
"Sersiously, who is that man" Zero asked. But I wasn't telling him. That would only make the matters worse. We just couldn't get caught, and brought back. If his mom sells us out, we'd fly, and hide, then come back later...
That old geiser.
