Overthinkin' Shushnubs

Luanna's pov

Zero was getting better, he still lacked coridination, and keeping his mouth CLOSED. He'd gotten at least three mouthfulls of sand, and choked on a couple bugs.

"How, do you make this look like you put no effort into this?" Zero asked me, as I dragged him onto the shore for the tenth time.

"Because I don't, shushnub" I told him. It was true. I put no effort into all of it.

"Then how-"

"Just don't think of it." I told him, before shakeing out the water in my wings, "It'll come to you soon enough."

"Yeah, not soon enough" Zero replied, shakeing out the water of his wings.

"Don't worry, after awhile, flying is like breathing. You don't think about it, but when you do, it becomes harder."

"Well, then that settles it" He got up from sitting on the ground in a wet heap, and just ran and took off.

"Zero, I didn't mean it literaly!" I yelled, but he did his first flawless take off, and got into the air perfectly, with the perfect balence.

Stupid overthinking shushnub.

After two hours of flying, we both finally decided that we were hungry, so we landed, which was flawless. Zero, was finally getting the hang of it.

"Is this suppost to wear you out this much?" Zero asked me, in the middle of eating more than I have seen him eat before, faster then I've ever seen him eat before.

"I don't know, I'm used to doing long hours of flying, running, climbing, fighting, and stuff like that with no food, or sleep, so I don't know."

"It better become easier, before he eats us out of house and home" His mother joked, rubbing his messy wet hair

"No! Don't eat my dollies!" Minie cried, holding on to her barbie doll tighter.

"Yeah, I could eat you, because that is no longer called canibilism" Zero scooted closer to Minie, makeing her screach, "Ah! Zero's gonna eat me!"

"Zero, don't scare your sister" His mother scolded him. Zero chuckled a little, and I put on a slight grin.

"Yeah, don't scare your sister" Minie pouted, crossing her arms, putting on a cute pouty face.

"Well, at least you can't eat me now" I finally said, entering the conversation that everyone thought was over.

"Well, don't eat anyone, it's bad enough that you have feathers," His mother scolded him again

"Relax, I would never eat anyone, you're my family," Zero told them, in a calm tone, before looking at me, "And I wouldn't eat the person who has made my room smell like it does" I gave him a grin, as I laughed,

"Well it's better than it smelling like dead shushnub," I told him, makeing him put on a mad grin. He knew I could've let him die.

"You win," Zero told me, as I had a sly grin on my face. He just clearly didn't have the energy to fight me.

"And do you two have any clue where Alex is?" Zero's mother questioned. But we had no answer. It had been five hours, and he still hasn't returned.
